YUM!!!!!! I visited the Local's Eatery at lunchtime with coworkers on a weekday. The weather was gorgeous and the parking lot was packed full, but the service was still so fast! We were seated upon our request outside within minutes and our waiter was bright and friendly. Their outside tables outlook the marina area and it's a beautiful view. I ordered the local's tacos with fish and they were great! I think I would've preferred the fish slightly crispier, but that's personal preference and I still think the food was great. The fries were well seasoned and the water cold. My coworkers both got burgers which looked equally delicious. This was the perfect place to get away from work for an hour while visiting Florida. A quick drive from FWB or Destin and definitely a worthwhile one for anyone interested in checking this restaurant out! :)

This is a lovely place to have a relaxing meal. I sat and looked out at the marina while enjoying a delicious Spinach Salad with blackened shrimp and Gin Basil Smash cocktail. Both were absolutely perfect! My waitress was very attentive and friendly. There is not a ton of parking, so you may have to walk a bit. The entrance is on the left around the patio area. Ambience was great with music that's not too loud and the right amount of seating, not too crowded. Would definitely go again.

Love this place, best food and personable service!! The view of Boggy Bayou is breath-taking and if you go on a night with live music, you won't want to leave! Everything on the menu is prepared beautifully! Love the spinach salad with either the chicken thighs or local fish the most. My hubby absolutely loves all the fresh seafood options!

One of our very favorite "local" spots in Niceville. The view is amazing and the service is always great....but we come for the food! It can't be beat! Always delicious. Favorites are the hot crab dip and redfish! So yummy!

This is my second time to the Local's Eatery. I ordered the fish sandwich first and it was fine over a lunch. I just ordered the seared ahi tuna and was very disappointed. It came out completely undercooked and very squishy in the middle almost as if I was going to a sushi restaurant (not sushi grade) to the point it could make you sick. The remake was the complete opposite and grossly overcooked like a tuna steak. Additionally, it was smothered in an overpowering sauce. Yikes. I posted photos of it all, including a screenshot of what I expect seared ahi tuna to look like. The service was fine, pretty normal/average. The restaurant is located along the bayou and on a nice, clear day it does provide a nice setting and probably what saves the restaurant from going out of business. I spoke with the manager, Lisa, and she became completely defensive on the feedback. Needless to say, I won't be back anytime soon.

The food was good, but nothing spectacular. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes. Cocktails and dishes seem a bit overpriced, but it's a safe place to take family or friends who eat the standard American diet

Had the seared ahi tuna, without the potatoes (for keto), salad instead. It was phenomenal! Great atmosphere, seating is inside or out, great view of the docks and bay.

We enjoyed our meals there. We had a great server with Angela and really liked the wood trim on the walls, the wood garage doors, and the noise dampening materials. Everyone was very pleasant. I can't believe I didn't take pictures. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes and the Ahi Tuna bites for appetizers. We had the BLT with a few extra initials, the hamburger, which could have used some seasoning, the Philly, and the blackened mahi with the asparagus. Everyone enjoyed the french fries, of course. I would definitely recommend, and I wished we had room for the Keylime pie.
