Edit: I had to change my initial review from 2stars to 1star.I had to stop eating it because the food was making me nauseous. Long story short, the food destroyed my stomach and coated my mouth with a horrible oil taste that will not go away.Hard to say this, but this is the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Usually go to The Lion King but i didnt want to go that far. So i chose to try China One. Huge mistake. I got beef lo mein and sweet and sour chicken. The food has no flavor and just tastes of dirty oil and some off taste. I will not return and do not recommend. However, the woman at the front seemed nice.

I placed a big order and for my meal I had ordered the general tso chicken my husband brought it home I took one bite an my mouth was on fire I called them and with no hesitation they offered to replace with a large I requested if instead they would do a small and give me another side of the lo mein which was delicious! They had no problem at all with my request and was pleased to fix the problem which I really appreciated! 10/10 customer service and highly recommend the vegetable lo mein! I also highly recommend the steamed dumplings they are sooo good and the dipping sauce just takes it to the next level!

Great food. Hot and sour soup is some of the best from take put in SWFL aside from PF Changs. Definitely worth going to if you want Chinese, so many others just don’t make the cut here in SWFL.

I don't often have a taste for fast food and I rarely order pizza. When I don't feel like cooking, my go-to is Chinese takeout. My one experience in N. Fort Myers was the place in the Publix strip mall. It was awwwwwful. With trepidation, we tried China One, near the post office. Clearly, not enough New Yorkers in the area. It was almost dinnertime Friday and literally one person walked in. While not as good as my restaurants in GA -- from where we just moved -- China One is decidedly better than that joint across Bayshore. The hot and sour soup was a tad too hot. Egg drop, fine. (When mixed, it offset the heat of the other.) The eggroll wrapper was too thick and a little light on its vegetable stuffing. But my roast pork chow mein -- I always specify white sauce -- was pretty good. I like that most entrees are available in two sizes. The hunt is still on. But in the meantime, China One is okay.
Finally found a good Chinese food location. And on top of that they are kind and friendly as well as homesome when I come. They get to know you if shop there everyday lol and with the times we in its affordable thank God.

Food is decent and tasty. Couple things lowered my score: the Pork Fried Rice tastes good but there was almost no pork in it. Just rice and a few pork specs. Sweet and Sour Chicken has a nice sauce and there was a lot of chicken; problem is that some of the chicken pieces had no chicken.. they were just blobs of batter. Have to say, it was better the time before this, so I'll try again and hope for the best. It's worth trying.
