She made wonderful suggestions and definitely catered to our needs. I suggest if you come here and ask for her. The only reason why this place didn't get five stars is because I really wanted the menu to have something more than dessert for after meal experience like a platter of fruits or dried fruit and nuts to go along with the coffee or tea because dessert after a heavy meal is sometimes a lot. So something a little bit lighter that doesn't weigh you down. So hopefully they add something like that to the menu. Please everyone come and have an amazing experience and ask for Liz. Though we arrived on time, the experience started about 45 minutes later and to be honest after starting and seeing the preparation and the interactions the sushi chefs and staff had with the guests I wasn't even bothered. They were fun, they explained everything and most of all they took their time to create in front of you. They created edible art and that takes time. The drinks were fantastic, strong but flavorful and complex. The sake shots provided as part of the dinner were fun. It felt both entirely intimate but also super friendly sitting at the bar with other guests. The meal consisted of nigiri. Each piece specially crafted, unique and completely complex. This is not a place where you just get sushi, this is an experience where the purpose is to truly taste what great seafood is. We began with the hummus and spinach dip. Both were extraordinary! The menu had a lot of tempting offerings, however I chose a burger as I can’t get a really good burger where we live. And it did NOT disappoint! It was probably the best burger I’ve had in years! Perfectly cooked to a nice pink medium and the truffle fries were delicious. My friend had a steak and salad that were tasty as well. And our server Rachel was out of this world! We began with the warmly spiced, yet balanced Little Bohemian cocktail and a glass of Paula Kornell Napa brut sparkling wine, so crisp and elegant. We feasted on stone crab and a delicious farmers market salad with a bright whole grain mustard vinaigrette. The pristine Dover sole was generous enough to be shared and the creamed spinach and pommes purée, delightful accompaniments. Dodik made us whimsical artisan cappuccinos with hearts to accompany our meringue-crowned key lime pie, a highlight! The service was also pretty good, the waiter had a good sense of humor and thoughtful menu suggestions.
