food was excessively overcooked, dry, and extremely bland. they had nothing that their online menu claims to have.

I didn’t understand the question of what gravy and when I chose oxtail I was told that that’s an additional charge. I think that should be said upfront or a sigh put up somewhere . I got curry chicken and rice and beans the food was ok.

Someone from TikTok recommended this spot and it wasn’t a good recommendation honestly. They were empty for a reason. I didn’t even see one customer when I walked in. Maybe I went on the wrong day. Food was not good at all. Oxtails were burnt.

I’m visiting from chicago and wanted some peppers shrimp so I found this restaurant on the website and it’s around my mom house, so me and my niece when there to order my shrimp they have had shrimp in a while, I said what . They say that is was a special order. I think they should specify what they have in the restaurant and on the website. I ordered brownstew fish, fried fish, side order of callaloo, mackerel and dumpling. The food look good , but sad to say I was very disappointed. The mackerel had no taste, the brown stewed fish taste like it was cooked days ago and it was half spoiled very slimy,It was horrible, the fish was dry snd had no taste to it. The only thing was good was my nice foot that she order was the barbecue chicken.I am Jamaican and I know how the food supposed to taste. won’t be going back there I know there’s a better Jamaican restaurant Around here.

I searched this area for an authentic Jamaican restaurant and we were not disappointed with Reggae pon the Grille. I had some developmental chefs with me researching Caribbean cuisine. We literally ordered everything on the menu. The atmosphere and bar area was unassuming and they played the music too loud, but the food was outstanding. Co-owners Nadine and her chef-husband were a delight. A first generation immigrant, she sat down with us for over an hour and explained every dish in detail, showed us prep techniques, and shared a few family secrets. It’s hard for me to suggest a particular dish. We enjoyed all. If you’re in this area, support this family run business. You won’t be disappointed.

I haven't been back in 4 years. We had the Mannish water soup (goat head) and it was a wonderful flavor; not too spicy. The rice and peas and oxtail was delicious. We also had the j*** chicken and I heard it was impressive. The food containers had steam coming out after Uber delivery! We will definitely order more often ??

I should have left when the lady started off with a major attitude, but I had driven a long way to get there. The menu looks like they have alot of different options. Unfortunately, I stayed and ordered food. The j*** chicken was dry and a tiny portion of chicken with a whole box of rice. No j*** sauce was available, so it was dry and very plain tasting. The brown stew fish was alright but Nothing special. The lady's rude attitude made me not want to come back. Bad experience & bad food.Vegetarian options: Ackee, soya chunks

Friendly staff and trendy restaurant. I really like this place. This is my go to for dinner. Their j*** chicken is the best in the city!!!! I'm talking real on the grill j*** flavor none of the saucy foolishness lol. No long lines either. They use real ingredients and the food is always tasty.

The first four items I asked for they did not have they were out of and after that I was standing there listening to the person in front of me who ordered a j*** chicken dinner and it was over $20 looking around at the restaurant I turned around and walked out the prices ridiculous
