I've always passed on going to this restaurant because the line is ridiculously long.. But now I understand why! The food is really good, and the prices/portions are even better. I would recommend ordering ahead (if possible) or going during a less busy time. Ask for the $5.99 meal!

Cousin really put this place at top for carribean food. Servers were hard to understand but polite. Froze my dinner to take back to MD. Havent ate it yet, but portion of rice & beans very generous. Vegetables were not as generous. Ox tails smelled good, serving was acceptable for price. I wouldn’t consider myself to be a regular patron however this location has been my choice up until tonight. There was no one in front of me the ladies proceeded to prolong their conversation without no acknowledgment. Let me be quite clear upon entering the store a gentleman who is part of this establishment did greet me. I was waiting quite patiently. A customer who I believe is a regular came in not only was he greeted one of the ladies actually told him that he should come to the front so that she can serve him. At this point I became quite aware that this is poor customer service I didn’t feel the need to have any dialogue with either of them so I left. This is quite upsetting to me because I don’t think I will be returning to this location.

And another thing they do is, when you CLEARLY speak your order and they screw it up, rather than take RESPONSIBILITY, they turn around telling you that you "said this" or you "said that". If I say a Lunch Special and you prepare a SMALL, DON'T TELL ME ", I TOLD YOU SMALL"! I know WHAT & how MUCH MY stomach can take. So if you screwed up the order, THAT is on YOU, don't try passing it off onto the customer if you're DEAF. THEY CAN BE SO FRIGGIN RUDE IN THERE.

The food here is always good and fresh but keep in mind towards the later afternoon there is always a long line they have great lunch specials and dinner specials I love their oxtail meals and their fried chicken is amazing and always fresh just keep in mind that you may have to wait long periods of time to get your food and sometimes the staff isn't always friendly which is what makes me hesitant on going sometimes but other then that the food is really tasty and well seasoned

I asked for fritters, young girl says there isn't any, I ordered something else and 1 minute later it arrives from the back.. We all got so sick from brown stew chicken & rice and peas 10/7, bought it about 10 am, breakfast was over so we got rice, we got so sick, last time we ate there, we were fine so it's rear.........needless to say, we won't be going back to that one.

Gave it a 3 over all. The j*** chicken was decent. I was charged 3.00 for cranberry juice I didn't order. I didn't even order drink at all. Rice had no flavor. No enough selection on sides so I was forced to get cabbage. I wanted mac n cheese but they said I can't have it. I'm like, but it's a side. They said it's extra. I'm good won't be going back.

Love it at Dutch Pot! The food is great! So flavorful. I've had the food at other Jamaican spots but the food at Dutch Pot id say is just better, and consistantly so, and when you get a Large they hook it up! My favorite is J*** Chicken, rice and peas, smothered in Brown Stew. Lawd have Mercy, I could eat it everyday!

I went to this restaurant to grab some dinner and I got 2 order cow foot with peas & rice, steam vegs and Stew peas with white rice and plantains. And y’all that food was bussing. The young lady from England made it taste even better her customer service was ?. I Highly recommend you go there great customer service and good food ? Y’all gonna see me back.
