My previous review focused on the phenomenal food, and that certainly hasn't changed. In fact, I'm pretty sure their chicken has achieved a permanent spot in my top 2 of all time – it's absolutely divine.However, this visit, I want to highlight the exceptional staff at Perl. Juliana, Tony, and Chelsea absolutely blew us away with their service. They weren't just attentive and professional, they were genuinely warm and friendly, making our entire dining experience truly magical. Their recommendations were spot-on, and their enthusiasm for the food (and for making sure we had a wonderful evening) was infectious.Sure, the Aventura and Esplanade areas are seeing a surge of new, "fancy" restaurants. But here's the thing: Perl doesn't need all the bells and whistles - which it ford have by the way. They focus on what truly matters – exceptional food, impeccable service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere where you feel like a valued guest, not just another customer.In a world of fleeting trends, Perl by Chef IP stands out as a constant. Loved,loved the mushroom lasagna.. and I’m not a vegetarian… but the bechamel atop was worth a song…cudos for how far the service has come… salads abundant(surely enough for 2) congrats for listening to feedback and correcting prior missteps… I AM your customer now!!

Wow absolutely love this gem of a restaurant. We had a fantastic artichoke appetizer with a smoky finish and amazing sauce, and the chicken and steak bowls are delicious. Top notch food, attentive service by our server Chelsea, beautiful atmosphere, highly recommend! If you haven’t been you should definitely go, I’ll be telling friends about Perl and we will be putting this on our list of favorites.

Honestly this is a 5 star restaurant but they made a big mistake with our order so I gave them 4 which is fair.Quality food, good place for a date or double date.The Japanese sweet potato is unbelievable.

terrible service, even the wine took 25 min to bring to the table and brought wrong one and only one glass. the food took about an hours for a dry cold steal which was the specialty of the chef. I sent it back, they microwave it and sent it back again cold and dry. honestly $80 steak that looks and taste like $8 never again there bad service bad food overpriced the pms e is VERY small and narrow, tables one on top of the other one worst experience ever

Incredible. Crudo was great, hearts of palm was a nice starter also. Japanese sweet potato one of the best I've ever had. Tuna steak was a perfect main. Loved the rigatoni as well.

Me and my wife love Perl, their food is delicious and presented beautifully. One of the best NY Strips I’ve had in a while, love their wasabi Cesar, and basically everything on the menu.

Honestly, what is not to love about this place? It's a neighborhood restaurant owned by a world class chef. His staff actually cares about service, which is so refreshing here in SFL. The food was immaculate. BTW - the chicken will be the best you've ever had. Great wine selection, as well.

What a lovely small, quiet, comfortable, intimate place. Food prep and presentation excellent. The eggplant with tahini and borek was superb as was the tuna tarradito special The bronzino well prepared.
