New North Port location. What happened to the fresh, lightly coated classic chicken breast sandwich offered in the first week of opening. I ordered a classic chicken sandwich today praying and paying for a quality chicken sandwich, only to receive a twice fried couldn't tell the dried out chicken from the overfried crust. This is not the same sandwich and I will not return to such a disappointment. If you can't do it right and the same way every time don't bother. The Colonial is certainly not happy after all his hard work to come up with a simple recipe that everyone once loved to be massacred in less than 6 months. Shame.

Best kfc I've had!!! Door Dasher it and it came as hot as if I was there. Everything was delicious.

After reading the reviews, I still thought I would give it a shot and unfortunately, the overall consensus is correct. Service is OK in the people seem friendly enough but the food preparation was awful. Extra crispy turned into extra soggy.... a 15 min wait for take out became 35 min.... missing one side and it just didn't taste good. This is the only KFC that's close to me and generally I crave the Colonels chicken about once a month..but I'm gonna have to go Cold Turkey (?).....until they get a chance to turn things around.

Great place to eat. Clean and nice atmosphere. Credit to be given to staff and crew for efficientcy and keeping up with flow of customers .This is new. It takes a bit of time to work out the bugs. If you never worked retail or food service, you have no idea what these kids are going through. There are always a few losers who have nothing better to do then complain. Get over it.

If I could give no stars I would. The service is horrible, the drive through guy was nice but his female manager was a real b and that is putting it nicely. They forgot the biscuits in the over priced family meal and when I asked for the biscuits they were rude about it as I was leaving I told them bye and the female manager turned around like she was looking for an argument and asked "what you say". Wow, is what I thought and she definitely needs some coaching in customer service. The food was tasteless and soggy with grease, not the KFC that I remember from my childhood. I definitely will not be back.

This facility seems to be clean as far as the dining room. Kitchen, not so much. Food was terrible, chicken was dry, potatoes were soupy, only thing good was cole slaw. I also found it rather strange that there were approximately 8 people, give or take one, and the entire staff including the Manager were all African American. Believe me, I didn't have any issues with that, but strangely found that odd. Perhaps EOE does not apply here.
The food was good and the drive thru worker was pleasant. It's nice having another fast food place in town. Already doing a better job at this KFC than the last one in North Port.

I atmosphere as it was a drive thru. I got a 4 piece meal, only one side and over priced. The first two pieces I ate were ok, there was something wrong with the 2ed piece. I took one bite and swallowed it. I spit out misting the 2nd bite. Got terrible sick Wednesday night, it’s Saturday night and I think Im finally getting over it. I filled out an online complaint that said they would be getting to me. As of yet I haven’t heard a thing from them, like they could care less. Scroll down and it asks which dishes do I recommend? I recommend any dish but what they have at KFC.
