“I have been going to China Palace for years. I have NEVER had to wait for my delicious, hot, perfectly cooked orders and the time given as when to pick up has always been correct. well, unless I count the time when hurricane Irma hit us directly as hurricanes seem to do to North Port and every single store and restaurant closed for at least a week, even the ones that did not lose their power. I live 2 miles from China Palace and every store in their complex remained closed for days EXCEPT China Palace. My home had no power for 9 days-we ran out of food with no hope to buy more. Out of desperation, I drove around, looking for anyplace open. There was only one, China Palace. I did wait 2 hours to get my order because the line of hungry people was so long. But the owners worked non-stop to cook and get out the orders. They tried to close at 10 pm but the line was still very long so those wonderful people kept working for I don't know how long. I left after 10 pm with my hot delicious order and the line was as long as ever. The owners and workers deserved medals for fulfilling the needs of many hungry folks. Since that time I have ordered their authentic Chinese cuisine and have never been disappointed. My daughter who lives in Southern California and has traveled to China and other parts of Asia can't wait to have dinner from China Palace when she visits. she says it is the best she has ever had, anywhere. if I could give China Palace 10 stars, I would. Great food, compassionate owners and staff.“
“We normally go to Sarasota for Thai food, but the good reviews made us try Thai2Go. My husband and I had crispy spring rolls, the rice soup, red and yellow curries with chicken. Everything we ordered was excellent, and the young man (we assumed the owner) who waited on us was very friendly. We will definitely get take-out from here again!“
“We LOVE IT HERE! BEST THAI EVER!! Meals are always fresh and hot! Great portion and great prices. We don't even want to try another because we know it will be disappointing. The soups are awesome and sushi is fantastic! Love the Tom Ka soup. And Won Ton is outstanding the noodles are homemade like everything we have had there. We have never had anything we didn't like and it's our favorite restaurant in Port Charlotte, Englewood, Punta Gorda and Venice. Our service is great and very friendly, Clean, and a nice atmosphere. “Great food and the best I have found in Florida, which doesn't say much because I'm from Chicago and they don't have good Asian food in Florida, that I have found, so far. Service a bit slow all the time but not too bad. Atmosphere is plain but clean. I would highly recommend this place. I don't eat sushi but people I know love the sushi here. The hot food is great, and it's nice to have a variety to satisfy all. Note that they are not open on Tuesdays and only sell beer and wine.“
“We absolutely love it! We first tried Fugu about 5 or 6 years ago and it quickly became our favorite sushi restaurant. The quality of the fish is amazing and the price is great. We were worried what COVID would do to the business, but very glad they made it!Fugu has awesome sushi, friendly staff, great pricing, and are always quick. Highly suggest it!Kid-friendliness: We often go with our kids (4 and 7 years old). They both love sushi and are always excited to go to Fugu. The staff is always friendly and make us and the kiddos feel welcomed!“
