Absolutely yes. One of those amazing hidden gems, their chicken is incredible and I loved (and now crave) their collards. Mashed potatoes were perfect, fried pork, and sweet potatoes were outstanding. The pork sandwich is huge; the portions overall are super generous and the food is like a warm hug. Can’t wait to come back for breakfast!

Best collard greens in Ocala by a long shot. Best oxtails ever. Try the mimosas... You will not regret it. Beyond pleased with my visit here. Staff was very friendly and it feels like it's always our first time walking in. Highly recommend.

This restaurant was absolutely lovely. The big portions of fabulous food @ very, very reasonable prices is what everyone loves. The staff, from the waitresses to grandma made you feel like family. I only wished they served some type of bread with the platters. Definitely recommend!

It was a great experience. I was there for the first time with my girlfriends and we enjoyed it. The food was great. We had Big Man Chicken, Loaded Pork Chops, Fish, and Hot Dog. It was all great. The owner came out twice and talked to us.

We met up for a family Easter-weekend lunch based on a central location drive. Found this gem by reviews with photos and we’re so glad we did! Pork chop sandwich, big man’s chicken, smothered pork chop, fried chicken wings with sides including candied sw potatoes, collards, green beans, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, fries. We all couldn’t resist sampling each others’ massive plates of home cooked perfection! Took the suggestions for desert to-go: pecan pie, banana pudding, peanut butter pie, German choc cake which were all huge portions and absolutely divine. We will be back for breakfast next time! Staff were all wonderful and felt like friends.
First time here. Everyone and everything was great! Loaded grits was delicious!! Easy to miss this jewel of a place because the signage is small but definitely a must visit! Gets pretty busy around brunch. Bathrooms are clean, easy parking in front, service with a smile and good morning!

Sundays are JazzyPigs breakfast splurge day and today we visited big man’s cafe. If you’re in Ocala, visit this unassuming family owned and operated breakfast and lunch joint! Southern food with soul as they describe and we agree. Breakfast was awesome! We were greeted by the friendly staff and brought some great coffee. We were warned the coffee was good! Jazz had the country omelet with a side of potato’s and toast. Country omelet is full of spicy sausage, ham, sausage gravy, diced potatoes and CHEESE. It was stuffed. I had the loaded grits bowl with sausage, bacon, sausage gravy and topping perfectly cooked grits with two eggs to order on top. It was a great meal! We will be back-we have heard lunch is equally as good! These folks are awesome ?
