Stopped by for lunch for the 1st time. They have a $5.00 lunch menu and I ordered a fish sandwich and fries. It also came with a little corn muffin which I could have eaten a dozen of those, it was so good. The sandwich and fries were good and you can't beat that price.

The best!!!! I had the shrimp and grits (best around) and the low country boil (omg ). My husband had the Philly cheese steak and fries, he said it was amazing! We will definitely be back!!!!

This place is small but the food was excellent. New England clam chowder was very good, made the old fashion way with the potatoes used to thicken. Service was also very good.

Saw some reviews about Down the Shore and checked the menu and liked what I saw. It’s a small place but since it was 2 pm, we were only ones eating. I ordered the Haddock plate with Cheese grits as a side and a small corn muffin and coleslaw. My husband ordered the Haddock sandwich with fries as the side along with coleslaw and corn muffin. Both Haddock portions were decent and they were delicious. There was quite a selection, Crab cakes, seafood platters, shrimp and Calamari. Prices are reasonable, maybe the lowest prices I've seen. Try it out! Love the Haddock!

After spending the afternoon at Silver Springs we were hungry and found Down the Shore just 10 minutes away. My husband called it in to pick up but they do offer both dining in the restaurant and outside if you prefer. The staff is really friendly and the food is incredible.The crab cakes are basically just crab meat and seasoning, there isn't any of that mushy filler that you tend to get with that entree other places. We also got the peel 'n eat shrimp with Old Bay seasoning and again, incredible, big, favorable shrimps.If you're in the area Down the Shore is an excellent option for seafood!
