The prices are out of control for a ok steakhouse. The prices are higher than a fine dining steakhouse. I don’t mind paying any amount for a nice meal but this place is just ok. They think because they are in Ocala with no competition they can charge whatever they want. Competition is coming and I do believe this place will go under.BTW who is that freak walking around in a cheap suit giving people dumb looks? He greets some people while they are eating and gives others a dumb look over and over.Bill was over 350 before tip , No drinks just food.Never will go back place is a joke, Very low end food with high prices

Excellent meal and great service. Delicious bone-in filet mignon was available and it was extremely tender and flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We also had an off menu side dish of tempura asparagus with Thai chili sauce and it was amazing. Had a couple of great cocktails to start and had a bottle of Quintessa with dinner

Best steakhouse in the area by a mile. I eat here for every big occasion i can. Food is always perfection, service is always good and the restaurant is always clean and inviting. Do not waste your money at any other big local steakhouses. This is the only one worth the money!

We celebrated my Wife's 50th here last week. We wanted a memorable experience and got it. They were very accommodating and even had a high chair ready for our 1 year old grandson. Food was excellent. The best steak I've had in a long while. Overall I highly recommend it. We hope to visit again in the near future. Thanks to everyone there!

We thought going to a fine dining steak house it would have been amazing. The steak was very unimpressive, no flavor,tough,not cooked as asked. The sea bass was outstanding! The sides were good, nothing to talk about. Not a bad dining experience, but WAY overpriced for what you get.
As always, fantastic meal and truly amazing service!! We love this place and visit once a month. Typically we sit at the bar for date night but we brought mom and friends so we sat in the dining room. It was quiet and we were able to hold a conversation without yelling. Alicia was our server and she was absolutely amazing! She interacted beautifully with our crew and we just loved her!! Food and drinks were out of this world!! We will see you soon! Highly recommend dining at Mark's.

Marks is our go to restaurant for all occasions, date nights to special birthday/anniversary! From the moment you first walk in the door to the end of your evening Marks will make you glad you were there! We always ask for one of Daniel's tables, he takes care of everything!

Seriously, mediocre at best... the food? Meh. That how ever does not have bearing on how ridiculous it is to get a human on the phone to confirm a reservation (or make one). Have a person ANSWER THE PHONE. I would not have gone at all as I have no tolerance for any place that can not answer a phone.While the price is far lower than a real high end steak house (Charleys - Orlando, Kobe - Tampa, Prime - Vegas)...the quality is also far lower. Unfortunately the lacking quality does not reflect on the total price of the meal (I am NOT unwilling to pay $500 for a steak).Parking is a freaking joke. What is Ocala thinking with the parking situation? Half of the parking garage is empty for a hotel that is also empty. No, your valet can NOT park my car, not for any price. So, when I am in Ocala if I want a good meal I have options, none are on the Square. WEC of course has many good options.Marks strikes me as a place where drug reps try to impress medical staff and folks who save up for a special meal are let down over all. Going forward, I will do my best to not have to go back (including letting the drug reps know that there are better options).
