I had oxtails from here tonight and it was the worse plate of food ever. the 3 pieces of oxtails was mainly thick globs of fat. it was sweet peas and rice, the Lima beans were not done and they didn't use any seasoning. it taste like the gravy was flour and water. this was a waste of $25 wouldn't feed it to a dog on the street.

I red most of the reviews and I disagree with the ones saying the food is small and pricey...To get the stuff for those meals are very costly...The place is always clean....The short chef is awesome ?...GUYS PLZ GET SUM REGGAE HOUSE FOOD TODAY!!!!!! #5star

Had oxtail with rice and peas and steamed cabbage and a fried dumpling. I enjoyed every bit! The oxtail was so tender, I was able to 'chew up' the bone.... didn't loose any of the 32, nothing went to waste?

I was not pleased with their J*** chicken. I felt like they didn't use enough j*** seasoning on those chicken at all. The cow foot soup was delicious though. I was a little surprised to see mixed vegetables in my cabbage, but I figured maybe that's just the way they do it..

So excited to try this place out but barely anything was available on the menu. I know supply chains are messed up right now but we eneded up leaving ,without eating because of the slim pickings. Hoping the menu comes back soon, we want some curried goat!

The Curry goat was amazing! Their empanadas are the best I’ve ever had. So glad Ocala has this restaurant. I can’t wait to try the brown chicken.

YOU HAVE TO COME HERE. My mom was dying to eat some oxtail and we were lucky enough to have this place close by. Their food is INCREDIBLE and the people here are super nice. I'm very picky with the places that I go to but I was glad to have stopped to eat here.
Good food however, their j*** chicken is not j*** at all. Oops their shrimp is horrible 4 worm shrimp and $15 nonsense.

Ordered a pick up order today. One large j*** chicken and one large curry chicken and both were really good! Great size portions as well. Definitely try it out if you haven’t already! The only complaint I have is the bones in the rice I swallowed but that’s only because I was eating so fast I wasn’t paying attention.

I tried this place for the first time the other day. It's very close to my house. Jamaican beef pie was very good. We split the ox tail and j*** chicken. Both were very tasty. Price was fair and the service was very friendly. Let's help this small business grow Ocala. It is very authentic Jamaican food!
