I was thinking about Cracker Barrell until I saw the Cuban shop…wow! Cafe con leche was awesome with ham and cheese sandwich heaven. Thank you guys for a great lunch. My wife really enjoyed the soup as well. Dios los bendiga.

I decided to do a quickie for dinner on my way back home. I went to Paddock Mall's food court as I was debating whether to do seafood poke or Cuban food. Since I had seafood already, I went with Cuban. The friendly guy at the counter took my order, which was a Cuban sandwich (10 dollars) and mango smoothie (5.50). My sandwich included a side, and I chose the potato salad. I was told there would be a small wait, but was handed the potato salad from the fridge. The potato salad was typical, but delicious with a nice amount of potatoes. The smoothie came before the Cuban sandwich. It almost tasted like mango lassi, but a bit more icy. It tasted natural and flavorful though. The sandwich came 5 minutes later, and it was quite hot in temperature. However, the flavors were missing. The bread was a bit bland, but it was soft. The pork looked to be pressed, but it tasted good. The ham tasted like regular supermarket quality. There weren't many pickles in my sandwich, but I was able to taste the mustard and melted cheese inside. I honestly ate the insides and left quite a bit of bread. There was no atmosphere other than the typical mall food court. There wasn't much of a crowd and the mall looks like it is dying. Even though I didn't care for the Cuban sandwich, the mango smoothie and potato salad was good. Thus, I will round up to 4 stars. Else, it would have been a 3.75 if decimals were allowed in ratings. I would visit and order again, but only the smoothie and it was natural and had various flavors at a reasonable price.

I’ve never in my 30 years living in Miami the center of the cuban community tasted so disgusting cafe con leche like the one that I had in this place today, I don’t know what kind of cheap bad quality coffee they used to brew the coffee but it tasted so bad, you must be ashamed of calling this coffee “cuban coffee or cafe con leche”. I’ve been around cuban food and coffee and 100% sure this coffee was absolutely thrash. I just throw it in the garbage can. by the way the taste was like if they made the coffee with the leftover remains of a previously brewed coffee. so disgusting ?

I was only here once and had a cuban sandwich. It was good.Parking: It's very difficult to get into the parking lot due to construction and traffic getting off of I75.

The food was amazing and truly authentic. Only giving them four stars because they do not have pastelitos and croquetas. Very important authentic Cuban cuisine.

I never leave reviews but I just had to, the food here is so amazing and reasonably priced. The lady is always so sweet. So much better than any big chain restaurant you can go

Excellent food and service. Ordered via doordash for pickup, and it was ready on time. Both the Cuban sandwich and mango smoothie were delicious.

The food here is excellent. Everything is fresh made, and I highly recommend it to anybody. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. I would come here again and again if I lived closer. But next time I'm in the mall, I will make this one my stop.

Rude and a Business Strategy Like No Other! This is a place in the Food Court at the Paddock Mall. They hardly understand any English so if you speak Cuban/Spanish, you may have a better shot at communicating. My wife asked the lady at the register if she could have the rice and beef stew with no beef if possible. The lady said "NO." Luckily, they were not the only game in town, therefore, we just said "Ok" and moved on to another restaurant in the same food court. Now, if I'm paying the full price and asking you to give me less food, you have to be a genius to decline that offer.

Didn’t care for it when i tried it a year ago and just the other day my boss ate here and got food poisoning. Would not recommend.

Be aware that that this is a food court restaurant. We came all the way from the interstate because of the great reviews. Way out of the way and sooo not worth it. They were out of everything except Cubans. We got two and they were mediocre at best. It was noon on a Sunday. Why open if you have no food? Maybe it was an off day for them, but a bad experience for us.

Don't skip it because it's in the mall - we almost did. Great, quick lunch at a decent price. Very good cuban sandwiches and plantains.

I cannot believe all the positive reviews for this terrible food on Goggle! First of all - except for the toasted Cuban bread - everything we got was SWILL! How dare they even call this Cuban food? From what kind of Cuban who sends a Cafe Con Leche with no sugar in it? In my entire life of eating Cuban food mostly in Miami and Key West I never had Cafe Con Leche without sugar! It was burnt tasting and awful - undrinkable. The Carne Guisada (Beef Stew) had no olives, capers or raisins in it - only potatoes, carrots and beef and had barely cooked so the meat was like an old shoe. It was unappetizing chunks of fatty, tough, sinewy meat, unpleasant and salty. Impossible to chew and swallow. The side dishes were an insult to Cubans everywhere - flavorless mojo with boiled yuca and red beans that were mostly watery bean juice and a few red beans. The pork tamale had no flavor and the meat was fatty pork that the cat had difficulty chewing with her fangs.Obviously all the good reviews on Google are fake or people in this ridiculous town have no clue what comprises real Cuban food. It was some of the worst food I've had in this burg and that's going some.
