It had been over a year since we decided to give the terrace another try. The elevators were down to one working so it took 5 minutes just to go from 1st floor to 2nd floor (should have just taken the stairs). We found a nice seat on the terrace looking out over the Christmas lights of the downtown Ocala Square. It's quite a beautiful perspective.Unfortunately. It took several minutes to be even seen by a waitress. It was so long, I walked to the bar to get a wine list, so we could order when the server arrived. When she finally did arrive, we ordered two glasses of wine.Fast forward another 10 minutes, we still hadn't received our drinks, no food menu, no water which is weird as there was only one patron at the bar, two Manager type people walking around, the server, and the bartender. We bailed and went to Mark's, which was packed. We bailed, went to LA Cuisine which was also packed. We ended up at District and were extremely lucky to get two spots at the bar.The Terrace has so much potential if only they showed a little bit of effort. So sad.

We have visited several Hiltons throughout the years but had no reason to visit this one since we live in the area. We did want to check out the bar though. The first time we visited, Charlotte was our server. She was very attentive and friendly. Charlotte provided us with the food menu, as well as the drink menus. Since we arrived right after I finished work for the day, hubs and I did not have a chance to catch up yet. As we were trying to catch up, we were socializing with Charlotte in the meantime. Our drinks arrived quickly and were tasty. A great way to end the work day. It was not busy when we arrived but there were still patrons there. We did not order any food but Charlotte informed us the food was good, fresh, and made to order. We had a second round and asked for the check. The second time we visited, was completely opposite of our first visit. We sat down in the same area as the previous time. We sat and waited for 10+ minutes. There were several employees working and they all saw us but not one of them greeted us. We waited another 5 minutes, gave up, and left. It sucked because it was our wedding anniversary and wanted to have a celebratory drink. We may try again and hopefully we get served but if not, we will archive this place.

The Hilton Garden Inn is well located, I'll give them that. The hotel doesn't have proper parking so in order to have your car in a safe parking space, it costs $24 per night. Ok, but you also have to do it on a phone app. I think that is cumbersome in hot weather and rain especially. The room had a shade that wouldn't go up, so had to call for repair. The gentleman who fixed it was very nice, but there's no way they should let someone check into the room. The room above had foot stompers and could hear them most of the night as well as noise from traffic below. The restaurant were very nice, but I wouldn't go back.

I checked in and checked out! I was given a room that smelled musty and AC didn't work properly, shower handle was broken, I was then given another room where there was blood trails in the hallway and in front of linen closet. Upon arrival I was told it was 25.00 to park in front of hotel or 14.00 to go across the street to a parking garage which was never disclosed. Bar and restaurant were closed. There were ear plugs in the room with a note saying it was for the noise. There was tons of homeless roaming the streets and hanging out in park across the street. It had a weird vibe I would not recommend this place you've been warned!

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel for a professional conference. Great location in the heart of downtown. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Parking at the hotel is limited but there a lot just across the street with dedicated spots for hotel guests. Overnight Parking fees were reasonable. The hotel bar was nice, you can purchase meals from the kitchen menu and there’s a breakfast buffet option for a fee. Walkable area with a variety of restaurants within short walking distances. I’d visit this Hilton again.

I My (2) day stay at the Hilton Garden Hotel in downtown Ocala was in a perfect location within walking distance to a variety of good restaurants & bars. The Restaurant & bar at the hotel was excellent and would most definitely stay there again.

Parking, parking, parking! High cost with NO guarantee you will have spot after you’ve paid. No recognition or benefits for Diamond members no complimentary breakfast or acknowledgement of status. Do not disturb signs are ignored. Staff needs additional training.

This hotel is so loud at night!!! Sirens, drag racing, backfiring cars… It is awful!!! It feels like there are no windows at all. I stayed for business for 3 nights and didn't sleep any of those nights. And, they are so aware of it that they leave you ear plugs on the nightstand and expect that to make the stay worthwhile. It did not help at all! In addition to that, the parking is $22 each night if you park near the hotel and $12 each night to stay in a garage a trek away. And, this is not on their website. You will have a better experience somewhere else. It seems convenient being in downtown, but it isn’t worth it at all.

Despite what the website states, there is limited to no parking and it is $22 through an outside party. Each room gets free earplugs because there is so much noise on the street at all hours. Housekeeping was sparse if at all, and was incomplete. The refillable soap containers were empty, and the blood stains on my duvet were really offputting. We stayed for work and would never stay here again.

I was excited about staying at this new hotel. But I was sadly disappointed from the moment I arrived. You have to pay $22 to park close to hotel and $12 to park 2 blocks away. Then when you walk to the parking garage you have to set up an account and scan a code so you don’t get a $25 Parking ticket. The fee is separate from your hotel bill. Royal pain in the butt, just getting back to your room. The staff has no idea how to instruct guests on how to handle the parking situation. The Hilton Ocala is a much more organized hotel and is less expensive.

Got stuck on the balcony after closing the door and not realizing that the door had NO HANDLE, left my phone inside the room, was able to flag down a cop ( an hour later ) to get the hotel to let us in, then got the round around as far correcting the issue. You decide ...

Since Nov 2022, I have stayed here over 40 days. King size pillows are fabulously … expensive. Last week I started tracking what I was paying and the short term advertised rates. I am being charged $220+ a night when the short time rates offered on the Hilton website are $183. I was also paying for valet service so my car was parked at the entrance in case I was called into work at night. So as a loyal customer, working senior citizen and AAA member , last week I asked the front desk to adjust my rate to the advertised rate. The front desk told me only a supervisor could do that. I asked that the supervisor call me. I leave the hotel at 0550 hours and return at 1730 hours. No one had the courtesy to return my call. Today I made the same request. I was told the supervisor was filling in serving food to guests. I never received a call back. I lodged a formal complaint with customer service. The valet service is being let go for a self park in front of the hotel exit for $22.50 to 25.00 per 24 hours. Other issues: Some doors do not close and latch properly. It is possible to leave your room with your door closed but not latched shut. Other rooms the deadbolt does not move into the doorframe to dead bolt lock the door while to7 are sleeping. There are other local options that are considerably less expensive. I get Hilton’s message loud and clear, they would rather over charge me that earn my loyalty. I will take my next 50 nights to a competitor. My advice is check your rate scheduled well in advance against the rate someone making a reservation 2 days in advance. Better the $40 or so dollars a night in yours or your companies pocket. Photo: Last valet standing…gone tomorrow….
