Another absolutely wonderful meal at Tony's Sushi ! The sushi is fresh (love the G Roll yum), the dinner combo is enough food for 2 people and the service is amazing! Jane waited on us during this visit and she was on her game! She made sure our drinks were always filled and took wonderful care of our party of 4! Jane made us laugh, made us feel valued and gave us all a hug before we left!! We will definitely be back and hope we get to see Jane again!!

We had ginger salad(great), onion soup(cold), fried rice(good), green lantern roll(great), & salmon sashimi. For dessert we had the tempura cheesecake, it was pretty good but we think they fried it in the same oil as the vegetables. And we had the green tea ice cream(good). However, our server was a little distracted or forgetful, we were his only table and I had to ask where my sashimi was because we were almost done eating and he never brought it, had to ask twice for water, he spilled rice all over the table, no big deal, but he never cleaned it up.

My fiancé, my self and another couple decided to go eat one of our favorite dinners sushi and hibachi. Mind you my fiancé and I drove all the way from Altamonte a 2 hour drive to Ocala it’s self because we heard some good things about Tony’s how ever we eat steak all the time and our family owns a meat store in Waycross Georgia called Mickey’s. And we know alot about meat and ALL THE STEAK I MEAN ALL of it that was cooked in front of us was bad it was dark brown in the middle which means it was not store in the proper temperature or the truck it got delivered on was not cold enough. I don’t care what the problem was but you can die was eating meat that is bad or old. And when we brought it to there attention they thought that it was just a young couple trying to get out of paying not the issue at all like I said we go to places way higher end all the time to eat sushi and hibachi so that’s not the problem and when you are my husband and his friend which was part of the other couple these boys can eat and they didn’t touch not one thing. I enjoyed my sushi and they have the best sweet tea however please keep an eye out when the chef cuts your steak in front of you. Because if it’s any kind of dark in the center it’s no good.

By far the worst dining experience in Ocala, by a large margin. Once upon a time, it might have been good, but those days are long past. Note that this review is for the table service side of the restaurant - we did not try the Teppanyaki side. Wife and I arrived just before 7pm on a Thursday night. Restaurant was moderately busy, but no one was waiting to be seated. The hostess said it would be a couple of minutes to prep a table, so we waited in the bar. The bar is tiny, maybe 12 ft square and directly opposite the hostess station. While sitting there waiting, over 15 minutes we watched 3 other parties come in after us, all without reservations, that were seated immediately. I brought this to the hostess's attention, and she finally seated us in an overflow part of the restaurant. No apology, no explanation... And the table was completely bare. 10 minutes later a waitress finally comes by. She drops off menus, but doesn't take a drink order. Instead, she heads over to another table near us and spends 10 more minutes chitchatting with them. I had to flag her down to get her to actually take our order. This goes on throughout the meal. We have to remind her to bring our drinks. We have to ask her for chopsticks and silverware. When our sushi finally comes out of the kitchen, it looks like it's been rolled by 5 year-olds. Uneven sizes, so loosely rolled they can't be picked up, and the individual orders dropped at our table randomly, not all together. The gyozas we ordered as an appetizer came out after we'd finished everything else. Finally it was time for the check. Once again, had to waive our waitress over from her never ending chitchatting at another table. She drops off the check but runs off and disappears before I can get my CC out. Disappeared as in 20 minutes later she still hasn't came back. At this point I'd given up, and got up planning to just pay at the bar on our way out. Suddenly she reappears, and tries to convince us how good everything is there, and that we had a great meal, all smiles. Zero tip. Zero stars. If you want sushi, you'll be much happier picking up some from the deli counter at Publix. Much higher quality food, and you won't have to put up with the absolutely abysmal service at Tony's.
