Over 2 weeks ago I decided to purchase a protein shake from this location. I notified the lady that I had a severe nut allergy to all nuts and she notified me that the shakes don’t come with any Nuts in it. A few mins after drinking I had a severe nut allergy. I decided to go back the next day ask to see what she put in my drink and she showed me , it was a bag of granola that stated mixed with almonds. I notified her I am severely allergic to all nuts and she felt bad and apologized. She also admitted that she was never trained in how to make orders for severe allergies. She remade my drink but yet again i had another allergic reaction to where I lost my voice for a few hours. The workers are so sweet but i do not recommend this place for those who have any form of nut allergy as it is unsafe since the workers are not trained in cross contamination with allergies and severe allergies. And also there is a language barrier in reading. The employees are Spanish speaking and I am a native Spanish speaker so I was able to communicate. But the employee admitted she didn’t know what the ingredients said on the packaging which is not a good thing at all since they should be able to read labels that are in English in cases like this.
