I ordered sushi through Uber eats and the plate was placed upside down in the bag. I wasn’t given any soy sauce, and the sushi was not fresh at all and the avocado was mushy. I would honestly prefer Publix sushi over this. Very disappointing. I don’t every leave a review unless the food and service was amazing but in this case , if you’re looking for sushi to go I would recommend somewhere else.

We have been coming to this restaurant for about a year and it is always top quality and service. The sushi is consistent and super yummy! The house salad is always fresh and the soup is delicious!! And the staff is always nice and friendly !! This place is our number 1 sushi place !!

I’ve been here twice now and it only got worse. I paid 23$ for hibachi with $1.50 upgrade the and got a cup of the blandest rice I’ve ever tasted.The $15 salmon sushi tasted like canned salmon. I’m fairly certain that nothing here is fresh.I recommend Moya sushi right up the road.

We had great expectations for this place due to the reviews. From the start it was overly warm inside. We ordered soup and salad to start. They were good especially for the price. We then ordered a Mexican roll, volcano roll, and spider roll. The Mexican roll was flavorless and chewy. Didn't taste fresh at all. Volcano roll was over baked and chewy. The crab didn't taste good at all. The spider roll was horrible. The crab was as chewy as an over fried oyster. Never again.

Asahi really is a local gem, food is fresh, location feels tucked away avoiding the bigger spots traffic.Sushi is always amazing, appropriately priced and never too busy.If you want good sushi, and don't want to wait for it Asahi is your spot.Even their take out hits.

This sushi really lacked. Worst sushi I have had all year and I’m pregnant so was craving it like crazy. Spent $40 and the sushi barely had any fish in it and the rice was incredibly sticky. Got all cooked sushi because that’s the only thing I can eat and the shrimp was funny tasting. Soup was good. The service was good but everything lacking and kitchen was disgusting when I passed by. Never will eat her again
