I got hung up on twice with inaccurate information. The ‘manager’ on duty on Sunday, March 10th 2024, at about 5:45 to 6:00 pm informed me that her website was in fact accurate stating all lunch specials were available even though the website indicated that the ‘lunch specials were temporarily out of stock’.The contradiction proceeded when this female ‘manager’ informed me that the lunch specials are in fact IN STOCK but at the same time that the FUJIYAMA website is accurate indicating the lunch specials are out of stock).I proceeded to share the the confusion of this contradiction to which she informed me she was going to hang up.The owner or supervisor needs to know that Fujiyama just lost 14 customers due to her quick temper. She had hung up the first time I called as well.Good Luck to all if this ‘manager is on- duty.

Normally Fujiyama is an easy goto for good sushi and hibachi. IDK if there are new chefs back there but the food was phenomenal today. The flavor hit exactly where it was supposed to, all the sushi tasted and looked fresh. Whatever they are doing, KEEP IT UP!Amazing as always!

Hung up on twice with inaccurate information! I called and spoke to the 'manager' on duty on Sunday, March 10 th at about 6:00 p. m. to ask if the lunch specials are 'temporarily out of stock 'per the website', since my family of 14 were interested in a reservation for the following Saturday for the lunch specials. The 'manager' stated that the website is up to date and everything is in stock. So now I am even more confused because if the website is accurate, then that means the lunch specials are temporarily out of stock. The 'manager' got upset and shared with me that she's already informed me 'five' times' ( untrue - and that would not have clarified the contradiction of her story) and that she will hang up on me because she has already explained. The 'manager' hung up on me. The 'manager' is rude and doesn't know how to treat potential customers! Who is her manager or owner? They need to know why this 'manager' made Fujiyama miss out on 14 guests.

This was our first time trying out Fujiyama and we decided to try the hibachi. When we arrived, they seated us in the last two seats at a full table. The table was a bit crowded (about 8 of us to a table) but the group we were sat with were very nice. We got used to the cozy setting quick! We had to ask for the starter soups, which everyone at the table already had and was eating if not finished with it. It felt a little like we were playing catch up with the rest of our table, but we were able to get our salads and soup just as the chef began cooking. We started our main meal with some sushi rolls, which exceeded our expectations. I loved the volcano roll and all of the krab on top; that in itself was like a full meal. We also got the spicy tuna roll, which was good and had a nice kick to it. In terms of the hibachi experience, our chef was attentive to our requests and cooked the food to perfection. We got huge portions of food as shown in the photos (enough for several meals!) which was a huge bonus! Loved that the plates had a lot of veggies too on top of our main courses. I was really happy I ordered the fillet mignon; it was so flavorful and well worth the price. The only downside to the hibachi, and the main reason I gave it 4 stars, was that there weren't as many "party tricks" in preparing the food, mostly just cooking and socializing, which was okay. I would've loved to see our chef do some more tricks. Every place we go to for hibachi, they show off a little bit and that didn't happen much here, which was a bit of a bummer. Overall would definitely come back for the tasty food, and enjoyed the hibachi experience nonetheless!

I recently visited FujiYama for a lunch outing with my girlfriends, and it turned out to be a good choice! This hibachi-style restaurant offers not just a meal, but an entire experience. From the moment we were seated, the fun began with our chef who was not only skilled at his craft but also incredibly entertaining. It’s always a pleasure to see food prepared right before your eyes, and FujiYama excelled at this.We each chose different options - chicken, steak, shrimp, and squid. The variety allowed us to have a little taste of everything. While one of my friends was taken aback by its square shape, I found its texture similar to scallops, which was a pleasant surprise. Each of us was satisfied with our choices, relishing the perfectly cooked meats and the engaging cooking process. In summary, FujiYama offers a good hibachi experience, combining good food with fun and interactive cooking. It’s a perfect spot for a group of friends to enjoy a meal together. FujiYama is a good place to dine!

Overall, it was really good. I've been going here for sushi when in Orange City but never did the hibachi. We had to wait for the table to be filled by another party, but the waiter never asked for an appetizer order and was extremely slow with drinks, and it wasn't even crowded. He missed one of the apps we ordered when we eventually got his attention. The hibachi chef was great, and food was absolutely tasty. The wait staff was 2 stars at best. 4 stars overall, but it could have been better if the waiter was responsive.

Great spot for sushi and hibachi! We always love everything every time we come here. Service can sometimes be a little slow but the food always makes up for it. The Red Dragon Roll is a favorite in our group.

I have been ordering here for years. Put and wrote no onions in the directions. When I got home it was a plate of ONLY ONIONS. I checked my order to make sure there wasn't a mistake on my part. When I called to ask for a refund, they said they couldn't do that. My only options were to get a discount on a future order or drive all the way back to pick up a new order and they offered a discount. They then offered a $10 gift card but again I'd have to drive out again to pick it up. If I was going to drive out again, after their mistake, I'd expect my correct order and a refund. The employee said that wasn't going to happen and that the tempura was only $5. I asked for the manager (her name is Joy) and the employee told me "she's right next to me and will tell you the same thing." I needed up driving back, wasting time and gas money, for a refund. Having worked in the restaurant industry for years in the past, I know exactly how easily this should've been solved. I'm done spending my money at places that treat their customer like this, especially after years of being a patron.

My children took me here for my birthday last evening and it was the best! I also came here on Christmas Eve and I want to share how kind everyone is here from the hostess, server and the chef. The food is excellent and service is amazing! Thank you for making my birthday so special!
