I hate to give small business bad review but we waited over an hour in an empty restaurant for watery queso, spoiled salsa and overcooked bland food. The burrito had fries inside. I’d like to think that’s something you’d note on the menu. Prior reviews mentioned change in ownership. Wish them well, hope they can get it together.Edit to response..you tried to charge my card without showing me a bill, I didn’t want free food, you were yelling in the back because we didn’t want to eat it. The whole time we were served by kids. Those weren’t potatoes, those were over cooked fries. Wait an hour for horrible food anyone would be upset.

I ordered 3 items and they removed 2 of the items without a reason. Consequently I did not have dinner. They never called or texted me to let me know until the driver was already on the way. I called and the gal that answered the phone said, "we don't have that ". Seriously? Do not recommend if you are hungry chances are you won't get any food.

First time reviewer here. Thought we'd try this hole in the wall restaurant on our way home. My beans and rice tasted like an ashtray. Couldn't even finish my meal because one bite of the beans ruined my palate. :($32 for 1 burrito, two tacos with rice and beans and 1 tea.Waitress was nice and understanding and I felt terrible for telling her this but I didn't know if it was supposed to have this taste but it's just not for me. Going to brush my teeth immediately.

They have Mexican food in weeks days, but weekends they do Peruvian food and is absolutely delicious, definitely recommend it to visit,

Very delicious and the people are really kind. Love the carne asada. Chips and salsa are amazing. Can’t wait to go back.Update: very difficult to say this but I’m not sure I’ll be visiting here anymore. Food has changed from being hot, and savory to overpriced and lacking. I’ve gone a few times and my order is missing little things like sauce or low amount of cilantro. I understand we’re experiencing shortages everywhere but there’s no warning or anything. The worst part is it’s just not good anymore. I miss the way they used to cook the food.

I had previously given them a five star review but I’ve had enough bad experiences to change it since then. Front counter is rude and they got my order wrong. Another time I got home (4 minutes away) and my burrito was so soggy I had to put it in the oven before I could eat it. I heard they changed owners recently I guess that’s why they’ve gone down hill. Such a shame it was a very good restaurant a few months ago.

Something is not right with this place and it showed in my meal nine months ago. This is a reminder for me!Was so happy to see a Mexican restaurant so close to the area however was disappointed in the food. We ordered our food to-go. I ordered Carnitas (pulled pork) andAl pastor (marinated pork) on the corn tortilla, what a mistake that was. the corn tortilla was soggy, pulled pork was pulled fat while the marinated pork was not seasoned at all the Carnita Plate that had no chile toreado or plantains and Carne Asada Plate of which the skirt steak was toooo tough to chew, and I think they were plantains but they look like sliced overcooked small bananas, not plantains. Will not recommend this place or ever go back. First impression is a lasting impression.

Man, this place is great! The food is all wonderful, the people are nice and there's enough variety on the menu that you can get something delicious every different time you go in. I can't stop going; even though it's a half-an-hour drive for me. Even though I was there last week and yesterday, I'm seriously considering returning tonight!
First time eating here. Closest I have tasted to SoCal Mexican food.Probably tried 5 different Mexican Restaurants in Clay County and this is the best! Definitely will be returning with my family soon!

I wish I could give this place 10 stars ⭐️ This place has the best empanadas ever. Their empanadas are so so flavorful and i loved the churros and fries, I will absolutely be coming back to this place. The customer service was so sweet and again the empanadas were AMAZING. All of the food was delicious! This is my new favorite place.

This food was amazing! The staff were very nice and accommodating. Authentic and delicious food. Cozy Cafe style restaurant in a mini strip mall. It is in a very unassuming location. The amount of food and the decadent flavors were very worth the trip and very affordable. I live about an hour and a half away and I plan to go there again.

This place has changed so much since the most recent name change from La Perla. Everything I normally order is smaller, doesn't taste as good and has increased in price . The pupusas are so small and mostly dough $4 each. The guacamole is a joke for $5, mostly tomatoes and onions and you can tell it's old by the minimal brown avocado bits. The tacos have hardly any meat. The chips are stale and the nachos look like they were just thrown together cheaply not authentic at all. Overall I have tried several times to give this place a chance for adjustments but it's a hard NO for me now. I completely understand the state of the economy and difficulty acquiring certain items but the prices do not justify the taste at all.

Food is good & flavors are there but they con with the prices. The bill said under $25 when she charged me- she ran my card for $28.00+When i asked she said oh- & gave me back $2 in cash.. this is the 2nd time i have experienced this. They told me that they’ll tell me the price when i get there bc she didnt have the menu infront of her… i now have trust issue with this restaurant & the last time they charged us $5 extra on top of our food which is why i paid so much attention to the bill this time.. beware of your bill!!!
