After seeing so many recommendations, my husband and I drove from Lake City to Jacksonville to check it out. We arrived on a Saturday shortly after opening. I was so hyped until I encountered a dark skin, slim young woman lady at the door who sat us to our table. I don’t know why but she was very rude, like she had a bad day before arriving at work or she just didn’t like us. I almost told my husband let’s go somewhere else but we had already drove all that way and I wanted some frozen drinks. However, after meeting our server, I got back into good spirits. She was super sweet, I wish I had got her name. The food was awesome. I had the stuffed salmon and my husband had the pork chop sandwich. The drinks were amazing. The interior, the vibes and the atmosphere was lit as well. There was a gentleman that came around to ask how everything was, I liked that. Besides the unpleasant lady at the door, everything else was 10/10. I’ll patronize again and hope that there’s someone else is there to greet us or that young lady is in a better mood.

Babyyyyy! The food is A1! Came to visit from NC and this place did not disappoint! The vibe/music was nice, the food was SO GOOD, and the service was great! Our waitress Blue was really sweet and patient with me cause I was indecisive. We had the salmon bites, Cajun pasta, stuffed salmon and garlic mashed potatoes! The drinks are GOOD and STRONG! 10/10

The food was a selling point for me. I ordered the tacos on happy hour and the shrimp was well seasoned. The hostess could be a little nicer when greeting and seating people as she sets the tone. It might have been a bad day for her. I enjoyed the playlist and the overall ambiance. I also got the bad decisions and superpowers (separate). The superpowers one was definitely strong, and I asked for a replacement, but the waitress was honest and upfront about forgetting to ask which I can appreciate but also would like to have had the option to try another (even if I had to pay for it). I would recommend to others.

Great food and frozen drinks. We had a BLAST at this place. They had live music on the Sunday night we went. Security checks you at the door. We did Hookah, drinks and food! They owe us NOTHING!

The ambiance was perfect, the playlist was great and Lexie the server was as helpful as she could be with so many tables to wait. I would come again and recommend here as a good date night or girls night.

I recently visited Daq shack after moving to Orlando over year ago and I had a good time. I really liked the emo girl behind the bar she was vibbeeees. However, where’s the baddie servers??? I saw 1-2 but we need the eye Candy walking in to door honestly. It adds to the aesthetic of Daq Shack. Also they have changed their menu a lot and took away the breaded wings! Like WHAT?!?! The wings were iconic, now they’re …. Meh. Not the same Daq Shack I once fell in love with as a Duval native. Other than that, the music, daiquiris and hookah are always on point. Shout out BEST DJ in Duval @DJswagtcp
