Me and my friend visited a few months ago on a Friday night. It wasn’t busy, pretty early in the night. About 8 or 9? We sat at the bar for 20 mins waiting to be acknowledged. There was a group of bar tenders that stood in a little circle directly in front of us talking and giggling. I mad eye contact, smiled, did all the things I could do to have one of them come over. My friend who is more assertive than I finally had enough and stood up and loudly said maybe we can get better service somewhere else then thanked them for their hard work. One of the bar tenders loudly said back “YOURE SO WELCOME COME BACK ANY TIME” and we left. The place is very cute though and I’d love to go back and try again but the service is making me think twice. I really wanted to love the place. It should be noted this was in October and I have no idea if the staff still work there or not, but I’m still bothered enough to write this review 6 months later

Already one of Orlando’s best bars for cocktails, art, DJs and music on a stage. Classy artsy and the most sociable people you’ll met at any club, music stage or venue around. Approachability, classiness, yet affordable. Full disclosure: I have performed at basically every venue in town and so technically I work for everyone but The Arena Art Bar is a great choice on my off day, and a spot where I always meet music and local legends.Parking: Three garages within a thousand feet of it for ten dollars each. Garages never get full as they’re 6 stories. Free street parking nights and weekends.

Not at all like the pics on website or social media. Gives old worn out lamp shop/bar vibe vs cozy cocktail lab. The DJ was pretty good though.

SERVICE: 4FOOD QUALITY: N/ADRINK QUALITY: 5ORDER TIME: 3AESTHETICS: 3NOISE LEVEL: 2MENU SELECTION: 3OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 3.33Went downtown for my birthday this year since it was my first year in Orlando. After visiting the neighboring speakeasy we decided to stop in here. The outside clearly has that speakeasy vibe to it so we wanted to see the inside. The security guard at the front was checking ID's and clearly didn't like his job. Sadly the front door is the first impression so they are missing the mark there, but just my two cents. Wasn't too crowded on a Saturday evening which was refreshing change from the last bar we were in. The first things I noticed, when I entered, was the room had the wrong lighting, extra large couches with a bunch of people just hanging out with zero drinks playing video games on their phones, and a DJ playing music way too loud. I immediately thought the space had so much wasted potential, and could be something more than just a selfie nightclub. The drink menu is pretty straight forward, and isn't very large. With a few classics, most can find something they like. I wanted something off their original cocktail list, but sadly I was informed they didn't have the ingredients to make what I wanted. I wound up going with the bees knees classic cocktail. I will say that the cocktail was mixed perfectly, and my bartender clearly had some skills. Overall, this cocktail bar was a miss for me. I can see great potential in it, and clearly people love going in to get those unique lamp photos, but I need more than just a photo shoot bar. The cocktail I ordered was perfect, and their menu looks unique if only I could have tried a non classic drink. Not sure who their market audience is, but might consider going back to the drawing board if a more broad audience is desired. The bartenders are superb, and definitely want to show some appreciation to their artwork.

Nice vibes but I could do without the house music. It’s an antique shop so some throwback music would be nice. Nothing wrong the the dj, he’s great just doesn’t fit the vibes. Cigars would also be nice.

good lamps. also great alcoholic beverages. atmosphere is pretty great too.
Ann Teague’s is a very cool little spot on the main drag of Downtown Orlando! Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for something a little different. They have hundreds of lamps around the place in all shapes and sizes, which definitely makes the atmosphere very cool. The drinks are a good price and are aptly named. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town!Parking: Near impossible to find parking here at night, use the nearby garages.

The drinks are great as well as the service. I went on a Saturday night and when I walked in, I was expecting a cocktail bar atmosphere, based on the interior. They had a dj playing and it was too loud to have a conversation. It felt out of place, but it was my first time there, so maybe this is normal for this

This place had great ambience, great drinks, and even greater lighting avaliable. Stop in if you find yourself on or near Magnolia!
