This place is amazing. I seriously cannot live without their pineapple fried rice. Are they still open!?! What is going on? I dont want this place to close down. Anyway to contact the owners. I need to learn how to make this food!

I haven't tried much on the menu but the softshell crab is probably the best in the area. (I haven't tried it everywhere but the few local places I have tried this beats hands down) the pineapple fried rice has a nice curry flavor and is refreshing with chunks of pineapple. The prices are affordable as well.

I'm so sad they're closing, this restaurant is so good their Thai tea is phenomenal, and their fried rice is amazing.

If we weren't absolutely starving we would have left. Not greeted walking in, you order from a 1 pg. Menu. Spent $30 on veggie fried rice rice, green curry and 4 potstickers. The fried rive wasn't "fried", was tasteless, barely warm and the veggies were totally raw! It was barley edible. The green curry had a good flavor to the very thin broth but again the vegetables were absolutely Raw and there was no heat at all. Basically I would describe is McDonald's of Thai food. We weren't even offered water. Or any beverages actually. And we left over half of our meal on the table even though we were still hungry. I would strongly not recommend this place if you actually know anything about Thai food

I love this place. Their pineapple chicken fried rice is so good as well as their Thai tea.

I don't think I've ever craved a dish like I've craved Baanchan's drunken noodles. I can't post a photo because I always eat it before I remember to take one. Their ramen is also delicious, and made extremely fresh (like burn your tongue fresh). I have also tried their pineapple fried rice and and their pad Thai. Everything I have tried is perfectly cooked and absolutely scrumptious. The restaurant itself is generally clean, simply decorated, and cute, but the times I've been there haven't been many people dining in. However, They are constantly churning out take-out orders. If you're looking for fresh, authentic Thai food, I cant recommend this place enough.

We must've arrived on an off-night, judging from the previous comments. And we know businesses have had a hard time of it in the past 2+ years. But if this restaurant had to count on our repeat visits for its survival after today's experience, lock the doors. Here goes: 1. You order at the desk and pay before you sit down and include a tip--in advance--for the service. What service? 2. You collect and bring your own napkins and plastic tableware to your table. 3. Chicken was lunch meat in our orders, brought to the table separately on paper plates. 4. Thai ice tea was 85% ice. Some still melting in the plastic cup now at home, 4 hours later. 5. Vegetables absent in the Pad Thai, aside from raw bamboo shoots. 6. You bus your own table, everything in the trash. 7. $34+ small tip for subpar quality dinner fare. I took a cooking course in Bangkok and am still wondering where Baan Chain's 4.2 Stars on Yelp are coming from? Disappointing, to be sure for us but if you enjoy the scenario I've described, this place is for you!.

I have driven past this place many times but finally stopped in today. I used to live in Thailand on a Mormon mission for 2 years. I think I have a decent grasp on what authentic and this is amazing. Great Thai people run this place and the kitchen is out front so you can see them making the food.

One of my favorite Thai places in town. It's quick, easy and delicious. Very affordable pricing as well. Only reason I don't give 5 stars is cuz of location. This food quality deserves a better spot. But multiple dishes here are good. Pad Thai is wonderful and the curries are tasty too. Oh and I do wish they had a peanut sauce on the side too, but definitely not make or break.

I love Thai food and was really excited to try this restaurant, but sadly am disappointed at the quality of the food I received. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, we ordered the Drunken Noodles with beef, coconut shrimp, Thai sausage and the fried soft crab. The Drunkin Noodles had a good flavor but was served to us lukewarm on paper plates; it just didn't seem freshly prepared. The coconut shrimp were a bit over cooked. The soft shell crab was greasy and under cooked (also had a bland and extremely fishy taste) - just bad tasting overall. The star of the entire dinner was the Thai sausage. That being said, if I could rate this restaurant half a star I would. The food was not worth the price or the calories.

If I could give this establishment a zero I would. We ordered coconut shrimp. They were burnt. The drunken noodles were terrible and not tasty. Both the shrimp and chicken rice were terrible. Over priced and not all tasty. I frequent Thai food in my state of Delaware and they cook deliciously.

Best Thai restaurant in east Orlando! The only minor issue is they don't put palm sugar in the papaya salad to give it that sweet taste to the dish. Everything else is amazing and I still give 5 stars!!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM YELP! Call and order directly. Just placed order on Yelp , went to pick up and they have absolutely no knowledge of the online ordering service or Grubhub or Yelp. They say they are only familiar with Door Dash . So I arrive and they had no food ready , no knowledge of an order and when I show them the Yelp app , my order status and confirmation and how to place an order for their restaurant they just look at me dumbfounded like I am showing them a magic trick The food is good

Great Thai food. This place has the best prepared tofu in Orlando. Food is always fresh. Love ordering for lunch

Good food and a decent price, although portions were a little small for my appetite. We ate here a while ago and kinda forgot about it since it's off the beaten path, which made it a great choice for Black Friday as we figured Waterford would be nuts. I ordered the Tom Yum Soup which was good and had a nice spice to it. The broth was flavorful and it had a lot of onions and mushrooms. It was lacking something green which would have given it a freshness that it needed. It was good, but I feel I've had better. The Ka-Praw with Tofu was nice and flavorful with the medium spice. It was enough to get my nose running, but I could still eat it. The portion size was a bit small for the main dish, but there was a nice portion of white rice with it. The ramen came with a nice portion of fried tofu and the broth was flavorful (according to the 17 year old girl eating it). She enjoyed that and the Thai tea she ordered. The Mrs. had a beef noodle dish which looked a lot like stroganoff to me, but was tasty (I tried some). One thing to note is that everything is served on paper plates with plastic cutlery or in to-go containers. I understand the reasons, but also can be sick and tired of it. Eating soup with a tiny plastic spoon felt like a size above the ones you sample ice cream with. Especially with ramen. The flavors are good, the wok behind the counter throws flames high in the air, and the staff is friendly which may warrant a return visit. It's in a small building in front of the Boardwalk Bowl if you're looking to give it a try.
