So hopelessly understaffed .....Was here with our large peer group and decided to eat dinner in the hotel and chose Banrai. Keep in mind everything is pretty busy when a large group comes into the hotel. I am also keenly aware that staffing in the hospitality industry is more challenging than ever before.... however ... this restaurant was not packed. There was a party of four before out party of three waiting to get seated. We waited 25 minutes in line. The manager glanced at the line numerous times but never came over and communicated anything. It was like we were INVISIBLE.Once seated our server was delightful with a great attitude but she could NOT KEEP UP. It was just her and some management help for the restaurant. The tea machine was broken so no Hot green tea. The food ended up being quite good and we were enjoying our conversation so the LONG waits for table and every speck of food did not bother us that much.Ginormous kudos to our server (unfortunately forgot her name) for being cheerful and running her butt off trying to accommodate everyone. She deserves a Bonus !!

While it was good service and pretty good drinks (one alcoholic and one hot green tea), the food was mediocre in terms of taste and poor in terms of price. The edamame (appetizer) was barely this side of tasteless, the sushi was bland (spicy tuna roll and Atlantic roll), and the best part of the meal was the miso and pickled ginger. It was alright atmosphere as it was clean and neat.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp

Sushi had no taste, Edamame was OK, miso had an odd taste I couldn't place, possibly the seaweed they used. It's sad that a place like this and the best part of the meal was the green tea. I've had warmer edamame and better flavored sushi at much 'cheaper' restaurants.

Servers didn't even come over and assist me. They are not making eye contact. Extremely rude.

Very good sushi loved it! And we loved the wasabi mayo! The only con is the drinks are over priced. Also the restaurant hours are incorrect they need to fix that.

The quality of the sushi here is pretty good. However; Banrai loses a star for an outdated menu and what seemed like disengaged staff. The drink menu was so outdated that we ended up having to ask the server to just pick our beers and wines. Every time tried to pick a drink from the menu the sever apologized and said they no longer offered that drink. Not kidding or exaggerating when I saw we went 3 or 4 rounds of this game. Ha. The server was generally cordial but was either exhausted from not having enough support / coverage or otherwise just didn't care enough to put in the extra effort of a smile or making small talk.

Save your money and get sushi from the Publix less than 100 feet away. The sushi here is overly priced and tastes like it is refrigerated versus fresh. I ordered the Rainbow roll and the Florida roll. They were $22 each and were small in size. The rolls were very cold and did not taste great at all! So disappointed! Definitely will not return!

Seated to an empty restaurant, this should have told us what to expect. Hot saki machine not working. Offered cold saki, no menu for this. Just told premium and not premium. Appetizer menu very minimal. Salad, edamame and soup about it. Has the shrimp tempura roll and dynamite roll. Came out almost immediately so this tells me it was pre made. Shrimp tempura roll kinda chewy and tasteless. Dynamite not much better. Do not recommend.

Great sushi and a very kind and helpful waitress. Very slow kitchen though we were one of two tables of 4 or less.
