Nice place to chill for lunch. The goat stew was delicious. Plantains excellent. The rasta pasta had good flavor but the beef was a little tough. The cabbage was a little over cooked and had mixed vegetables in it…like the kind in a frozen bag from the supermarket. I would have preferred fresh veggies in my cabbage like most Jamaican restaurants that I go to. The veggies in the stew tasted fresh.

Signage on building and online indicated opening of 4pm. When doors opened was advised they were only serving drinks and not accepting food orders until 5pm. Unfortunately, we had a shuttle to catch at 5pm to get back to hotel for start of conference. Disappointed that we held off on eating inside park for a late lunch hear only to be told we couldn’t be accommodated.

This was our second time visiting, and it was just as great as our last visit. The food is excellent. It is our daughter’s favorite restaurant at Universal and for good reason! The flavors are excellent and I love that they have healthier and more unique options. She says the beef patties are “bussin” which is the highest praise a teen can give! We will be sure to always make a reservation here whenever we visit universal Orlando. The theming is awesome also, you feel like you are at a local restaurant in the Caribbean, from the view inside you would never know it is in the middle of City Walk! Staff is very friendly and service is prompt. No compaints whatsoever. Thanks for a great meal!

Don't get fooled by the size/glitz/glam of the other restaurants around here and check out this place instead. Best flavor and food by far. I got the Curried Goat Stew and it was tender and very flavorful. Good medium spice and filled my belly. The Taste of Jamaica appetizer was amazing too! My partner thought the deep fried market fish was too dry but the flavors were good. If I ever come back to Universal's, I'd take friends & family here!

4/3/2024The music is amazing and the real draw to this place. They also have a number of veggie options so great for parties that have a mix of dietary needs. Once the food arrived, I think most everyone was happy with the quality of the food. Our main issue was service. We sat down at around 8:35 and immediately put in our food orders along with drinks. It was after 9:40 that the food arrived. Our server never checked on us asking the way. Two of us would have ordered more drinks had they checked in.*The music is loud, so if you are wanting to talk, you may want to request an inside table. But again, the band is really good so loud can be good too. Just be aware.

We have a party of 12 or more every year. This year every dish was far too spicy. No one in our party could finish their food. Everything else was great! As expected. Most people prefer flavor over heat. The flavors were there but the heat overpowered them.

My sister and I had reservations on March 15 for food & drinks, the service and atmosphere was such a vibe that we went back that following Sunday. The staff is top tier. Bailey and Maria are the BEST!!

I was so excited to try this restaurant, but was so disappointed. As a jamaican I love trying new caribbean spots and this did not meet expectations at all, especially under the Marley name. The curry shrimp was so underseasoned and the rice was slightly underdone as well. The dip for the plantation chips was tangy not bad but not the best flavor. The pasta pasta was so dry the beef tips in it was so dry and made the dish not pleasant. The drinks we good but could have been better. Not a fan, we will probably not try here again. The service was good the waiter was very nice but the food was??.
