Well-decorated restaurant has a TV in the bar where the movie Forrest Gump is shown. We loved the bubba gump shrimp mac and cheese, tasty and creamy, but it could be served better, accompanied by a cold draft beer, excellent after a day at the park.

Best food ever. I got the 1/2 lb. of Cajun shrimp and it was one of the best things of shrimp I’ve ever had. Our server was amazing, and luckily we got to sit next to a couple who LOVED Forest Gump and got to battle it out in the trivia game that the server hosted. Amazing place and amazing staff.Parking: There is paid parking if you’re going to Universal Studios, but if you’re just coming on for dinner, it’s free parking past 6 p.m. and they always have room in the garages.

What can I say... from the moment of arrival to the time we left, the service was second to none. Thankfully, it was really quiet at 4pm on a Tuesday. We were shown straight to a booth and after a few minutes were given some tips and recommendations. We went for the Calamari as an appetiser, and my wife ordered Lt Dan's Surf and Turf and I had the Shrimper's Heaven.If I had known the portion size of the appetiser we may have skipped this. It was way more than enough for two to share.Our hosts were in the middle of a shift change and we went from Michael to Mikey with minimal fuss and both were superb.Would love to again but only here on holiday.
We arrived late afternoon at the Loews Royal Pacific, checked in and headed to the City Walk. Decided on Bubba Gump's for dinner. We had received a VIP seating pass upon check-in at the Loews and presented it at the restaurant. We were promptly seated and ordered. Appetizer (Bubbas Far Out Dip-excellent) My wife ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and Clam Chowder. I ordered the Bourbon Street Mahi Mahi with shrimp and mashed potatoes. Beer for me and Bloody Mary for her. Let's just say the food was excellent. Everything was delicious and cooked just right. The Bloody Mary was a little weak and not real spicy. Given the volume of people they serve, the food was awesome!!! Definitely a "go back to" restaurant while we are here!! The service was great too!!!

This is our 3rd time here when we are in Orlando. We love Bubba Gump Shrimp. The decor is so nostalgic of the movie, the waitstaff are always pleasant. This most recent time (Easter Sunday actually) after a day at Universal we stopped in for dinner. Unfortunately, out of no where my husband felt terribly sick so the waiter baggged up our food and plastic utensils for later. He did end up eating later when he felt better and even shared. His baby back ribs were phenomenal.

Our server was great he had a really nice presence about him. The food was not that great and we waited about 45 minutes from the time we ordered until the food came. When we got the food it really wasn’t all that good or hot. Our appetizer took a long time as well. Another thing that made our visit unpleasant was that it was freezing!! They must have had the ac set at 60. Anyways, our server did get it turned down but it still was cold. Our server felt bad so he tried to get us a discount on the check but he said management doesn’t like to do that? Anyways overall based on our experience I would not recommend.
I've given the stars to compliment the good service we had but the rest is really to highlight the poor food quality. Small portions, overcooked, dry and bland. It's super expensive compared to most dinning options around so you do expect them to hire a chef that can cook properly.Save your money on holiday and head somewhere else. Aimed at unsuspecting tourists no doubt.

Bubba Gump themed restaurant that is based on the movie, Forrest Gump. The decor reminds you of different scenes of the movie. Change the sign to red, "Stop Forrest Stop" when you require assistance. They even give you a Quiz about the movie to test your knowledge. The food is amazing and great service too

Friend and I decided to have our lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp around noon (4/14/24). I've been to the one at Universal City Walk Hollywood, but I had so much fun there thanks to Van. Van was awesome! It was our last day at the parks and when we go back to Orlando we hope to see him again. He gave us some great insight on the parks and food. Too bad we hadn't met him earlier in our trip with all his tips . He definitely made our last lunch in Orlando better than expected!
