Apparently 9am reservations mean “check in at 9am and they’ll seat you an hour later.”Beyond that, food was good. The characters were awesome. Service was pretty good.

Was really disappointed with chef mickeys! We went for my daughter’s birthday. The food was okay not that many options. Waiter did not seem to know much of what was going on. They do not sing happy birthday to your kids. I mean common even Texas Roadhouse/ chilis / any other restaurant does that. Such a shame it’s supposed to be magical for the kids! Please rethink singing happy birthday as an option. For $400 I’m not going back is not worth the price.

Always enjoy breakfast at chef Mickey's! Eggs were way too runny this last trip, didn't even put them on my plate, not sure they were cooked at all lol

The experience with the characters is fantastic, but they need to offer chocolate syrup or nutella to eat with the pancakes! Not doing this is a big mistake

So. My wife and I booked this mostly for my 3 year old to have breakfast with the Disney cast, but wow I was blown away by the quality and range of dishes available from the buffet. From the meats, cheeses, fruits, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffles, stuff to make breakfast fajitas, the buffet had everything you could want. Service was great and kept drinks filled. The coolest part was seeing my 3 year old get to meet Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald, and getting their autographs as well. It was so great to see his reaction to it all. Towards the end, music was played and all the kids got to dance with Mickey. At the end, a cast member asked if we got a chance to meet all the characters, which was really awesome.I highly recommend this to any parent (or non-kid folks!!) if you are on the fence about it, it was good food and a good experience and I felt like it was money well spent.

Visited Chef Mickey’s last night with my wife and three young kids. Both me and my wife were up all night with food poisoning and we are still unable to leave the bed and are confined to our hotel room with three very frustrated kids and also have tickets for Magic Kingdom today which we are going to miss. Very very disappointed and maybe Mickey should reconsider his occupation.

If you like barely warm crappy buffet food this one’s for you. Almost $300 for four people With no extras. The suggested tip was $50 extra for just bringing the sodas, absolutely not worth it. I expected more from a restaurant in Disney, cheap food, messy floors and low quality. Not all the characters came to the table, and even when we told them they never showed up, Pluto was the only one who spent more than 30 seconds with us. Disappointed felt taken advantage of financially and chef Mickey is definitely one off our to do list!

Food is solid with a couple of bright spots, like the croissant beignets. The entertainment is why you go, and the service is pretty amazing too.
