Dined on Saturday night and found the experience to be "just okay". There was a larger party seated close by who were very loud. Can't blame the restaurant for that but it was off putting. We had the calamari special, which was fine, slightly underdone but better than others we've had. The scallop, shrimp and grits entree was quite uninspired for a 30+ meal. The grits were served like a scoop of ice cream and while they were warm, the scallops and shrimp were both underdone. Our server was quite good, thankfully. However, don't waste your dollars here as there are much better restaurants nearby for the price.

Our groups has had dinner meetings for several years at Delaney's and the food is wonderful and service is always outstanding. I have also frequented with my husband and friends for lunch, happy hour and dinner and service is always dependable and the food is delicious. I have enjoyed appetizers, soups, salad and several different entrees. The bar has some amazing cocktails. It is lucky to have such a restaurant and bar in the South of Downtown area.
We had dinner here and it was great! There was a nice selection to choose from. My husband went for the filet mignon and it was perfectly cooked. He also enjoyed the lobster bisque! I had the shrimp salad and blue crab flatbread. The servings were all big and delicious! We were too full for dessert but we’ll need to try that next time. Our server, Destiny, was attentive and so sweet! We had a nice time and we’ll definitely be back!

The food was just incredible. The brie puffs and the burrata are just heaven. I'm still thinking about both of them. And the shrimp and grits were perfect as well. No complaints whatsoever.
While my son an I were having dinner there a couple days ago mentioned to our server in conversation that we were at ORMC visiting my husband who was admitted after suffering a major heart attack. When asked for the bill she said that they would pay for our meals. I was so very thankful for their kindness ...there are kind people in this world...

Blue Crab Beignets are big; we couldn’t eat all and brought one home. The two Shrimp Tacos are very tasty and fresh. Did not care for the Bundt Cake (pass). Washed down with two glasses of J Vineyards Pinot Grigio (expensive at $12). All was $112 including Tip. Expensive for a Tuesday lunch for two.

Delaney’s Tavern is such an underrated restaurant just north of the SoDo area in Orlando! Everybody always goes to Winter Park, Dr. Phillips, and downtown or Mills/50 areas for good restaurants, but why not here? They have a convenient parking garage right next to the restaurant since it’s attached to a hotel, and if you eat here, parking is free! The food is awesome, and if you came with a group of 30, I can guarantee everyone would leave happy because there is something for everyone!On our recent visit, we got a variety of different things: blue crab beignets, brie in puffs, spinach & berries salad, French onion soup, lobster bisque, gluten-free shrimp tacos (they have corn tortillas), smoked brisket tacos, bucatini bouillabaisse, and a skillet brownie as well as the the basque cheesecake with yuzu and blackberry drizzle for dessert, and some salted caramel ice cream on the side! Everything was so, so good! The beignets and brie in puffs are must-try dishes if you like crab and puff pastry with cheese, both soups were super good and the lobster bisque had a LOT of BIG chunks of lobster inside - one of the best we’ve ever had! The salad was great too! All the tacos we got were excellent; either would be a great choice, and the bucatini bouillabaisse (a February special) was incredible - another must-try. The desserts were amazing and the cheesecake especially was one of the best we’ve had in a very long time!Our waitress was super nice, friendly, and attentive, and she made the whole experience so much better than it already was. A great place that is centrally-located for everyone in Orlando, check this place out as soon as possible!! We will be back many more times!
