Food is fine, nothing particularly impressive. This restaurant has been a staple in Dr Philips for a long time, but I don't think it lives up to the hype. This was my first time back in several years, and my opinion remains the same.

You might be wondering if all these glowing reviews are accurate, and the answer is a resounding YES. I've probably had about 2/3 of their small plate menu and every single thing I've been served is God Tier. I come to Orlando to visit family and the first question I ask is "when are we going to Dragonfly?"

Dinner here was phenomenal. We ordered a lot of food, it was hard to pick just a few because everything sounded so good. By far my favorite was the kimchi linguine or the short rib. My daughter had sushi and bok choy, my husband ordered crab fried rice, chicken carrage, ribeye steak skewers. It was all sooo good. We will be back when in Orlando.

Overall, it was a good experience and meal. The one thing I didn't like was where our table was located. We were right at the entrance to the back of the house, so the entire time, we basically heard everything going on between the servers in the back area. I heard the word "corner" at least 50 times and was bumped into a few times as well from guests and servers since our table was right on the corner. But it was good overall. We had the volcano roll and the soft shell crab roll, sautéed edamame, chicken karaage, and fried ice cheesecake with ice cream for dessert. I also had an old fashioned to drink. All was pretty good
Ashley was awesome! Attentive and very patient! We had Eli the last time we were here a few months ago and he was/is also amazing! We made sure to say hi to him when Ashley pointed him out to us. Always such great service when we come. Will absolutely continue to come!

Good Japanese restaurant. There is a sample of sakes that is really worth it.
We have been searching for the best sushi for the six years we’ve lived here. Well this is it. It’s slightly more expensive than other sushi joints around but the rolls are larger and more fresh. Everything we had was delicious and we always love a dimly lit dining room.

HONESTLY THE BEST RESTAURANT ON RESTAURANT ROW! Felt like we were stepping into Japan. Not only did the food taste authentic, but it was downright delicious! The Chicken Karaage was my favorite, while my wife adored the Volcano Roll. Our server Savannah was fabulous, and the manager Cooney went above and beyond to ensure our experience was a fantastic one. It doesn't get better than this!
