The "Tripleta" was exceptional. Plátanos maduros were alright. I've been here probably 4-5x now. The lunch is wait long due to understaffing. Even when you go during off hours it takes about 15-20 minutes to get a sandwich. The taste makes it worth the wait but they should work on expediting orders.

I usually never give places bad reviews (especially if I didn’t even get to try the food) but I felt necessary to write this in hopes the owner will see it. I live in the area and got excited to see a new PR spot. Stopped by on my way home and I was standing there for 5 minutes, no employees were at the front and there were about 4 other families just waiting confused, like me. Two employees finally came out and didn’t even make eye contact with me, they were just pacing behind the counter. After waiting around another 5 minutes I left because nobody came to see if I needed my order taken. Hopefully next time I stop by, the service will be better! Thanks

Yummy The way they make sandwiches with Plantains instead of bread is amazing I want to go back and try more I love it The only problem is it seems kind of expensive some sandwiches are about 7 - but I got 2 sandwiches the cheapest -ham cheese and an expensive one steak and cheese on plantain and it was $21.10 That's a lot but it is really good maybe I'm just feeling cheap today

Update to previous 5 star review: We will live close by and try to stop by often during "business hours" when they list they are open, but they are closed. This has happened 3 times now. The last time we were able to stop and and get a sandwich the staff wasn't friendly and our sandwich was mediocre at best. I had high hopes for a neighborhood spot to grab some food but looks like I set my hopes too high. Le sad.Straight fire. At first I was skeptical, but boy was I wrong. Sandwiches are the perfect amount of crunch from the fresh toasted bread to all the fixins. Also got a chicken skewer which didn’t disappoint. Come check this joint out and come hungry! Will be back!

They need to update their hrs.On their page their hrs are different from what Google and the hrs they have on their door display is all incorrect.Arrived past all the hrs that they states they were open, yet they were closed.Tried calling, no answer nor automated machine stating their hrs.As well no way to order online for pickup.

The staff is friendly and the portion is huge! The drink was sweet and refreshing on this heat. Great pit stop during our trip here in Florida!

This spot is horrible. Nobody to take my order. Female waitress comes out with an attitude to take my order. After she takes my order runs off with her food to go eat but I never got my drinks from her. These no one inside the restaurant that I couldn't get my drinks. I'm guessing I paid for attitude . No friendly hello , thank you for coming. Update . I got my beers after she finished eating her food. Glad one of us got to eat and drink. Food was not worth the wait. Carne frita was soft with no seasoning . Rather take a trip to orange city and eat at lelos

Pictured: the El Poeta Special, Stuffed potato’s , and the Downtown.GO HERE. I am not kidding these sandwiches were amazing!! So good. The staff was very friendly as well and gave us great recommendations on what to order. We almost got their crazy fries (they looked so good) but we had plenty of food with what we got. My husband and I will definitely be coming back here. A little out of our way since we live downtown but honestly so worth it.
