Great place for fun and BBQ. Easy going friendly service and great pricing. All sorts of BBQ, a salad bar and limited bear selection. Make my annual trip here every February. No Fat boys on Sundays. Dinner for 2 or 4 great value. Come hungry leave heavy.

I had the pleasure of having Fat Bones BBQ’s smoked chicken for an event and I must say I got my money’s worth plus some. I was thoroughly surprised at the amount of chicken as well as the variety of pieces. Fat Bones BBQ provided wings as well as chopped up leg quarters…..some with sauce and some without to provide options for the guest. The meat was mouthwatering and had people talking about it days later.Did I mention the food was delivered…..saving me time in an already hectic day. I will definitely be a returning customer for future events or if I’m just craving amazing food.

Just got over food poisoning eating here July 4th. He charged us $75 for full rack, three sides and two sodas, which my girlfriend thinks was over charged (sign says you can get 1/2 rack & 2 sides for $20). The ribs tasted like lighter fluid. I was so sick I thought I was going to die almost went to the ER. I slept on the floor by the toilet all night. The ribs looked like scraps from other ribs and some of the pieces had the texture of jerky. The potato salad was put in a togo container that looked like it had been on the bottom of the stack on the floor with black stuff all over it. I’m not going to be able to eat BBQ for a long time. Couldn’t finish it threw it away. Won’t be back.

I was able to catch their food truck outside the RBELC and the food was fantastic. The potato salad was an excellent flavor and the sauce for the ribs was to die for!

We got 2 plates, a fried fish plate and a chicken wing plate. The fish was 2 huge seasoned pieces with a side of fries. Then there was the chicken wings with potato salad. Oh my goodness, the food was delicious. You should definitely go eat some of that delicious stuff that he sells.

We were looking for something different for lunch today and drove by Fat Boys BBQ. So we thought, let's give it a try. I ordered the sliced beef, the hubby ordered the chicken tenders. We both got the salad bad(extra $5.80). So we will start with the salad bar. The salad bar was fresh with plenty of ingredients for a decent garden salad. In addition to garden salad, there was chicken salad, macaroni and potato salad, cottage cheese, fresh fruit and pudding. Not a huge selection but all of it fresh and good. 3 stars out of 5 but just because the selection is small. Now the entrees, the sliced beef with baked bean and coleslaw. The sides are great but I was somewhat shocked that "sliced beef" was like deli sliced beef. Not only was it cold before I could eat it, it was very rare in the middle, YUCK. But serving what looks like deli meat in a BBQ place is ridiculous. I was expecting a nice slice or two of beef, like roast or brisket. The sliced beef gets 1 star, the sides 4 stars. The hubby's chicken strips were nothing to write home about, pretty standard. He also ordered the beans but got Mac and cheese which was pretty good. The star of this show though is the cornbread. So light and moist, we both agreed this is the best cornbread we have ever had. We even ordered extra to take home. The cornbread is a 10!Will we go back? Yes, we will but we will order something different as far as the meat goes. If you are Gen X, this place has a serious late 70's vibe. It's feels like you stepped back in time. Kinda fun. One more thing, the service was good and the bathroom was very very clean.

Good staff and customer service but that about it . I'm a foodie and nothing quite sat well with me. The tea had a terrible after taste . The Mac and cheese seem like Kraft noodles with melted velveeta cheese. The baked beans and the cornbread were the saving grace but by time I got to them I was already upset I bought the meal so I left it alone.
