Hands down the best Kerala food in Orlando. We got the kappa and fish curry, porotta and beef, and masala tea. Everything reminded us of home..This place is a part of a food court and is not a typical sit down restaurant. Everyone is very friendly and nice! 100% recommended and will definitely go back!

Reasonable prices. I love the kerala beef curry. You have to ask for it as they do not have it on the menu. I also love the chili chicken.Masala Dosa is
I am pure vegetarian so ordered Masala Dosa which was the worst one I’ve had in my entire life. The sambhar was completely tasteless like plain daal and dosa had some weird oil smell. I did throw my most of the food as it spoiled my mood and stomach. Please stay away from this restaurant if you don’t want to mess up your mood and stomach. I would give 0 star if possible.

This little Kerala restaurant in Orlando near the major roads of 528 and turnpike is absolutely a gem located inside Apna bazaar building with variety of Kerala appetizers and lot of delicious malayaly favorite dishes such as Kappa and fish curry, porotta and beef roast/fry, chicken fried rice, appam and egg curry to name a few. Authentic taste and fast service. The owner is really a nice person and he does an excellent job with his customers serving great quality food all the time! We drive 1 hour and 15 mins just to eat from this place that's how tasty the food items are. I would recommend anyone to try this place if you are in the area.

Worst Indian food I have ever had in the US. Got Chicken biryani and vegetable biryani. It had 0 flavors, no spice, no taste and it was like cooked chicken and white rice. They adverse it as Malabar/Kerala biryani and honestly it is not even close. Dal vada was ok, but had no salt. Would never recommend, please stay away and save your money

Over the past year, I've tried Kerala cuisine at various Indian and Kerala restaurants in the US, but my experience at this particular restaurant was outstanding. Despite its modest size, its name 'Five Star' is a testament to the consistently excellent food. The owner, hailing from Chalakudy in Kerala, was extremely cordial and even offered a complimentary plate of Parippuvada due to a slight wait for freshly prepared dishes. The Fish Curry, Beef Roast, Appam, and Kappa were all delightful. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic South Indian cuisine.

We always have snacks from here. Daal vada and onion vaja is yummy. Their dosa is good as well. Also had their fried whole fish which comes with rice. My kids love the fish.
