My wife and I found this place randomly while running errands. An absolutely beautiful establishment, with friendly staff, the Lamb and Mongolian skewers were absolutely amazing! I didn't take many pictures of the food but it was amazing! We will definitely be back and hopefully they will be doing karaoke!
Let’s start with the food. It didn’t take long after we ordered it. It was difficult to suspect that it was not pre-made. After taking a bite, we found that the skewers were not only cold but also stale and tasteless. The waiter kept making excuses. Then the atmosphere in the store is also very bad, there is almost no one there (I will probably come here once and then never come again), and the music is playing very loudly. Anyway, the environment is very uncomfortable.This meal taught me a lesson, that is, I must read reviews when I go to eat in the future. Except for 5 stars, most of the reviews for this restaurant are 1 star, and those who gave 5 stars were mostly foreigners.Summary: It’s not delicious and expensive, the store is deserted, and the music is very loud. If you want to eat barbecue, Laowang next door is the best place. Although the store is a bit small, the food is still delicious.

I have been to other locations of Friendship BBQ before and always liked those. Houston, chicago, but this location comes off as lower quality even though food is still pretty pricey for what it is. The food is bland for the most part. The grilled meat skewers are always super salty but besides salty they lack any sort of flavor. I suspect they marinade the meat in a very salty marinade. I want to see them redesign their grilled skewer recipes or follow the recipes of the other friendship BBQ’s more closely. The crawfish are also really bland. Most of the food are really not all that impressive for what it is. Their noodles were solid though. Service was also pretty subpar, but they had a new guy, a young guy, with a kind smile, he was very good and better than the rest of the staff that I saw. I’d say he’s a huge step in the right direction and he might be the saving grace factor on the service ratings of my review. All in all, I’d say there’s certainly massive room for improvement starting with the kitchen and eventually spreading to the staff.

OMG what an amazing experience We celebrated my daughter's 18th BDay their and they went above and beyond expectations to make it a special evening. They played Happy Birthday in Chinese and English on the karaoke. They brought out cutlery and plates when it was time for cake. We ordered 24 items and the total was $140. Everything we ordered was very delicious. In a day and time when businesses can earn and lose business based on service Friendship BBQ lived up to their name and earned future business from my family.
(1/17/2024) came to try this place out during lunch, was curious about skewer dining. We were the only ones in there the whole time during lunch. The app ordering via QR code is interesting, it transmits the order directly back to the kitchen. Pro tip, put your table's order through one phone. The skewers were obviously pre-cooked and were overdone by the time they were re-warmed and brought to us. The "hot" box was 3 tea lights, and not very warm. I guess I was expecting some sizzle. I wonder if they're better dunked in a hot pot vs. eaten "dry." The mackerel was a pretty shriveled shell of a fish. The best were the lamb and Wagyu. Just for interest, got the squid tentacles. Tasty, but very chewy. Scallion pancake was thick and doughy, and only a scattering of scallions. We enjoyed ourselves, but mostly that was us as our jolly selves. The one person we saw there, waitstaff/presumed cook was very very nice, limited English, attentive, but quiet and melded into the background. We might try the hot pot experience next time, judt for kicks.

I have been a long time fan of this restaurant since its opening. Really like the Chinese BBQ and their rice noodles. Staff members are really friendly and I enjoyed everything they had. Our server Linda has always been nice to us, really like her cheerful personality.

The food was nice fresh and quite flavourful. But the meat was way too salty. The shredded potato was quite good.The service was ok. The servers were kind and looked after us.The atmosphere was suiting and it was clean and tidy. The background music fitted the food and the whole vibe.Overall, the food was enjoyable, the service was nice and the atmosphere was good.

Interesting concept. The food is cooked 1st before it is served, and the box is to keep the food warm. You'll want to scan the menu with your phone as they show the pictures of the food on your phone menu but not on the paper restaurant menu. Also, keep in mind that the pictures can be deceptive as the quantity in the photos is decidedly less than what is brought out to the table. Also, you place your order from your phone while at the table which was a nice feature. Place the order, you can hear bell ding, you confirm your order and the food comes out shortly thereafter. The restaurant is located literally just steps from the Ensons market.
