The service was amazing, everyone was so welcoming and the guy with the sideways hat was giving off immaculate vibes. I do have some notes tho. The location is quite old and had a long history, which can be seen in the ambience. Also, I checked several tables and most of em were sticky. Lastly, the sandwich was good, but I wish there was a toppings menu of some sort, with me having to rely on looking at others peoples orders to see what toppings they had available. Overrall, service was top tier, the food was good, but I feel some drastic improvements can be made with the facilities. I will be back cuz I am a big sucker for family businesses and good customer service.

Don't waste your time. I hadn't been there in 20 years and was going to give it another chance.. They confirmed what I remember = Disorganized, and unfriendly staff, with sub-par food. Pun intended. I sat on the phone for 10 minutes waiting to order. They should give it up. Go to LaSpada on Lee Road instead.

the sandwiches were terrific! The grinder was as close to the ones I used to get up North as I've ever had. The bread is made fresh!!! Portions were plentiful. The onion rings were super crispy! Staff was very friendly. If you get the chance to get to Gabriel's, go. It's great.

I went here for lunch the other day and it was so lovely! The staff were all so kind and inviting and were quick to take your order despite how busy it was during the lunch rush. I personally got the Cheesesteak and it was really good! I definitely recommended trying it and i will be getting it myself again, my friend got the meatball sub and she really liked it as well! When inside you can definitely tell it was the original and i liked all the pictures from back in the day they had in there, it gave it an authentic feel. I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already!

They changed there sweet pickles Got Party sub and it did not taste the same. Why,vWhy did you change the pickle? I always came to your shop for years and now it's not the same flavor if party sub, no need to go there anymore.?

I had the displeasure of meeting one of the people who claimed to be one of the owners who was a woman. I have been going to Gabriel's for over 30 years. Today when I ordered a tuna sub the woman was stating only one pickle goes on my sub unless I want to pay $0.60 a piece for additional pickles. She told me what I ordered was exactly how their sub actually comes. Usually I only have tuna and pickles, but she was asking me if I wanted lettuce and paprika also. I said OK. She never put any paprika on it and then kept making a big deal about only 1 pickle. I have come in lots of times before and Kyle has made the sub with 4 pickles and didn't charge extra. Their receipt does not give a breakout of what you are paying for, just the total. Well, I am never going back and I am glad the Gabriels in Conway closed. Thanks for being so selfish and laughing about it.
