Edit: TLDR - ITS TERRIBLE NOW. prices wet up, quality went way down, and the tables were filthy and dusty, and the customer service was non-existent. INCREDIBLY DISSAPOINTED. I NO LONGER RECOMMEND.-----Previous reviewWalked in here on a hungry whim and was entranced by the smell coming from this place. I had 3 baos and that's a good amount for a substantial meal. You can get 3 baos just for 9 dollars which is great for the amount of flavor in these. I had the hogzilla, the shrimp one and the Korean short rib one. My lunch mate had the same and also the tofu one. Honestly, I thought all three that I got were phenomenal and would come here again to try the others . The tofu one was so, so but I'm not a huge fan of tofu it's usually quite bland for me. Very casual and can get busy around lunch time so be ready to share some space!------Current reviewI was in the downtown are and decided to stop in to one of my favorite spots. I was so excited because I have my perfect Trifecta of baos. I went un last weekend and OMG. IT was awful. From the customer service, ti the cleanliness if the tables, to the food. I ordered the Coco Loco, the hogzilla, and the Glenn Rhee. The Coco loca has 1 singular tiny shrimp, and a little bitnof Mango slaw. SEVERELY disappointed in the portion size but flavor was still there. Moving in to the Glen Rhee. Lots of meat, dry dry dry meat. And then the hogzilla one of my favorite things in the world. They replaced it with pulled pork which was so dry. It wasn't even pork belly, they have changed it! It used to be the most beautiful braised peice of pork belly in a succulent sweet and salty sauce. It was Divine. And now. It's way mor expensive, the quality is down, the restuaruant is now as clean ( I had the wipe dust/ debris off the table and I was the first one in. Super disappointed. I will no longer be coming here, it's a shame.

Amazing Bao spot if you're ever in the mood! They have a few places around Orlando, and we went to the one on Mills. We had the Lobster roll, The Cuban, and the Kickin Chiken. The lobster and Cubans were specials and highly recommend both, Absolutely delicious! The Cuban didn't taste like a Cuban sandwich like I was expecting, but the taste was great! The Kickin chicken is on their regular menu and was such a great bao bun. Perfect for someone who hasn't had Bao before and wants to dabble. Definitely add this place to your list!

The food was delicious ans the service very friendly. My only complaint was the small dining area with limited seating and the poor ventilation causing my eyes to water. I would definitely order again for takeout!

A real bummer because this was one of my favorite restaurants in Orlando editing from a 5 star. The portions have gotten tiny. The hogzilla just has braised pork and no longer has the thickcut pork belly even though the menu still describes it that way, was very dry. Coco Loco shrimp bao has literally 1 small shrimp that they upcharge for. Glen Rhee bao was very dry. Tater tots were still good.Meal for 2 was $32 both still hungry. Quality left alot to be desired.Very dissapointing. We just aren't gonna come back.

Very tasty and affordable food. The bao itself is fresh with a great texture. There are a lot of options to choose from.

Food is amazing. However, there is so much grease in the air my eyes water when in the restaurant. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired which is unfortunate because the food used to be one of my favorite in the city.

So glad my dad found this place on Google during our stop into Orlando today. It was excellent and has us wishing for a similar place in Gainesville. I had the baja avocado and mr potato head(absolutely delicious vegetarian options!). My dad had the hogzilla, glen rhee, and cuban. It was so good. I wish I had taken pics before we devoured our food because the presentation was great. Staff was very friendly, service was fast, and food was hot and fresh. Music was quiet background reggae, which didn't seem unfit for the restauraunt despite what other reviewers stated. This is a fun fusion restaurant, not authentic asian cuisine only, so seems perfectly fine. Great deal on a nice lunch in a cute little place with funky art.

If you are in this area of Orlando, King Bao is a must try. The food is delicious and the combo deal is the best. Those who claim the interior is dirty have obviously never been to a hole in the wall as the restaurant was very nice and the vibes were great with all of the art and decor. Now, the buns are great, I tried the Cuban, the Kickin Chicken, and one other flavor as well as the Kimchi tots and Nutella bao bun. The Cuban and Kimchi tots need to definitely become permanent menu items as they are insanely delicious! Furthermore the Kickin chicken is amazing! Finally, my girlfriend loved the Nutella bun with banana, she devoured the whole thing. Highly recommend King Bao!
