From a 1-10, I would give it a ZERO! The first time I tried this restaurant I ordered Legume with Beef and it tasted as if it was cooked from a few day. Gave it another change and I ordered the same but with Turkey . Guys, it was SOUR!!! To the point you couldn’t eat it. Right was over cooked. Food presentation was good but the taste was horrible! Thank God I ordered through DoorDash and I was able to get a refund and order from a different place since food went straight to the trash. It’s not giving authentic Haitian food. And legume is my favorite from childhood.

I walked in and there was no one even there. Luckily I ordered online and my food was just sitting there on the counter, so I was able to grab it. My food had no pikliz and I couldn’t ask for none since there was no one there. The Akra is not Akra. It’s more like marinade, just flour nothing else, in the shape of akra, lol. The rice was ok but there was too strong taste of Jirof, and the sauce from the turkey was salty. There’s nothing better in the area though. And it is clean!

This place was recommended from a friend . The griot was hard and awful . Brought friends to try it out . Never coming back .

I wish I checked the reviews before I went there today. Food was horrible. If you can't make a griot. No point of having a restaurant. I Wasted $20 today. ?

I been to so many Haitian restaurants from Canada to Miami. This place is the worst ever! Does not look inviting at all. Like the rice was not fully cooked, the sous pwa was so watery with no beans that I can literally swim in it. Put it on the white rice, the rice became saggy. The Macaroni gratin had no flavor, it looked like they stove cook it instead of putting the Macaroni gratin in the oven. Every Haitian understands that part!!! we called in 20 minutes prior to order our food. On purpose, we arrived in 30 minutes but still waited an additional 20 minutes. And for the macaroni gratin it was $12.50!!! Like you need to put down those prices on the menu. If I didn’t had time to cook my own food, this place would have never saw my face. Just looking at the food, I was insulted. Please do not ever disrespect the culture again. You guys should be ashamed! Nasty ever!

THE PLACE IS GROSS! The employees are working under unsanitary conditions. . No AC. The heat inside the building is about 88 degrees F. No customer service skills except for the young lady who works the cash register.

I order a plate of legume, which was burnt and tasteless. The rice was overcooked. Presentation was unpleasantly messy, I wasted money, time and energy- big disappointment! Get somebody else to do it- this restaurant is not it!!!

I ordered griot/rice and beans platter. It was ok but definitely lacked some flavor.I also ordered the black rice which was decent. The thing that ruined my experience was the legume. That was the worst legume I ever tried so far. It was so sour that I threw away after 2 bites. The only reason I’ll give it a 3 star is because the portion size and customer service was decent (compared to other Haitian spots).

take heed to the negative reviews on this place and DO NOT GO HERE! I've been going here for a year, it's always trash. to top it off, they are rude and drinks are expensive. I only went because it was the only haitian restaurant in East Orlando. but thank GOD the other restaurant "LAKAY" Opened near it and it's way better, more flavorful, and better service. Go there, do not waste your time and money here. if you do, don't say I didn't warn you!

Terrible customer service!!!! Communication is terrible!!! We called ahead to place our order, drove 20 mins to find out that the place is closed at 8:45pm…the sign outside says they close at 9pm.We call the restaurant and told them that we had placed an order and were outside to pick it up.She finally opens the door for us to find out that our food wasn’t ready and they had run out of the rice we ordered. What I want to know is what were they doing for the 20 mins it took us to get to the place? And why didn’t they tell us that they ran out of the food we ordered?Dont bother going here you guys!
