Salmon and tuna were very fishy. Did not taste good. Couldn’t even finish the plate. Definitely not worth $20.00

I got a build your own poke bowl with salmon, edamame, pickled cucumber (2x), mango, & green onion. For starters this bowl is really small and expensive in comparison to other sushi places. 1 scoop of salmon (a bit bigger than a cookie scooper) and 5 toppings for $12.73 total. The sushi rice just wasn't good it was flavorless and some chunks were gummy. The toppings were great except the cucumbers. I asked if it was a bit sweet and was told it was vinegar with sugar...however they were not sweet and are basically vinegary pickles. Didn't really want to finish it. I was hoping to love this place as it's close by but I won't get another bowl here

This place is locating inside the market place of avalon park is a perfect match. I tried the ahi tuna nacho bowl and I think it's great. I ordered 3 scoops of tuna instead of 2 & add on some seaweed salad, it was so good. Staff is very nice also.

The food was awesome! I'm a huge seafood fan and I've never been to a restaurant like this before. The food tasted fresh and it's a nice break away from fast food and other places like Chipotle. I'll be coming back again and telling friends and family about the good food and service, however.

This place tasted like pure garb. They were out of white rice and we had no other option but brown. The brown rice was not cooked and tasted like cat litter. The employees were so rude and did not help whatsoever even after telling them our experience. We left upset and hungry after speaking with the employees and being refused a refund for the waste of money we spent on the tragic food. Also the portions are extremely small. A scoop of the protein wouldn’t even fill an anorexic teenager.

Awful food. Terrible service. Server didn't speak English and didn't understand me at all. Ended up ordering in Spanish. She seemed totally disinterested in working there. Portions tiny, didn't taste good. Not going again.

Worst customer service I've ever received in a long time. Someone needs to teach the person that works here how to be friendly. Drop the attitude. Food was good, small portion but way overpriced(bowl+fountain drink $20), that I would've been ok with if the service was better.

This is one of my favorite places to eat when I stop by the Avalon Market Place. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. They always give me a generous amount of spicy mayo when I order my poke bowl. (be warned though their spicy mayo is a bit more spicy than other places I have been to)Lemon shark is also one of the only restaurants who give water cups. If you do decide to visit bring a water bottle or you can always purchase one for $3 but I prefer to save the money to purchase a dessert. Or you can stop by lemon shark and they have water cups.I love their poke bowls here especially for the price and quality and quantity you get. They have a variety of options and also premium toppings (avocado, seaweed salad) but I always get multiple proteins and they end up being free with my order.I will always recommend getting their krab and salmon since it is fresh. I do not like the spicy salmon as much. But if you are in the area definitely check this place out. They have many great options if you love poke bowls.

Got the teriyaki chicken hibachi bowl ( which was, for some reason, buried in scallions. So don't order it unless you really love onion. Luckily I do);A good amount of the "chicken" was inedible due to being burnt scrape-offs instead of actual meat, like the kitchen doesn't know how to properly cook or clean. The amount given of the " two sides" was enough to make us laugh when we opened it. It was less than one bite of each, like a pinch of each side added. Overall not nearly enough food for the price. The parts that weren't burnt were tasty, but can't give an overall positive impression with the kitchen serving burnt food and the portions being something for a toddler. The price should have been about half what it was. We ordered for the first and last time today. Also got a tuna bowl, which was so spicy as to have no other flavor. They really don't seem to know what they are doing. Good quality food does not need to be overwhelmed in onions and spices, so one can only imagine why they are doing so much to cover flavors up.

Lots of options but not overwhelming like Sus-Hi and not as pricey as conventional sushi. Protein portions are kind of small, be sure to get the squid salad and seaweed salad as a topper! Also serving STUBBORN sodas, only place outside of downtown I've seen them at.

First of all out of all the places that are available this is the only shop that did not charge me for water. The staff are super friendly and let me sample anything I wanted. They were also very generous with the amount of spicy mayo I wanted on my poke bowl. (I will say thought if you are not fond with spice their spicy mayo is a little more spicy compared to other places). My poke bowl was about $15 or $17 but it was a lot of food. The amount of toppings you get for the price was more than other places offered. There are a variety of sauces and other things to choose from. They do have premium toppings such as sweet salad and avocado but if you add another protein which is a couple $ more you can get them for free. Every time I visit the market place I always tend to go here since you get the best deal. The other places I have tried I didn't think the food was worth it for the price.

We tried this when visiting the market place and were happy with our food. Not sure if we came at an off time, but when we initially walked up no one was there, and we waited for a bit before someone came over to ask if we've been helped. We really liked the food and would potentially consider coming back again to give them another chance.

Definitely a quality poke spot! Staff was friendly and gave great recommendations. Will be coming back.
