Server was amazing. Had the prime ribeye which was so tasty. Potatoes were great. Baked potato was huge! Which was a surprise. The chocolate dessert was a great surprise for my friend's birthday. Overall, satisfying meal for the price.

Julian MADE our entire night so much better! The hostess was more than accommodating regarding seat selection. Wine selection was impecable. Overall, 555 was a great choice for our anniversary dinner. It's definitely a place to return to.

Great night at 555, my GF loves oysters and was thoroughly impressed with the quality and presentation of our oysters, she loved her charred squid, and my steak was perfect. I love the old school ambience, reminds me of Palm Desert steak houses. I wasn't able to order the chocolate soufflé, but appreciate it being on the menu. My GF says this can be our go to spot for dinner local. Thank you 555 for a proper evening
Our waitress was wonderful, it was our 1st time there for my husband's birthday and she took us on a tour through the menu explaining what everything was! (5 stars for her) As for the food, completely lackluster and unimpressive...everything tasted bland like it was missing seasoning or even some salt to say the least. We got the 45 day dry aged ribeye with onions and mushrooms but that didn't even help to add any flavor, the garlic mashed potatoes were very runny/soupy, the asparagus were ginormous like huge GMO asparagus which was the 1st thing that popped into my head, and lastly the steak sauces were below par. The butter cake was allllllmost perfect but they give you a baby scoop of ice cream and literally 2 pieces of fruit...We had high expectations and were extremely disappointed, the manager took almost everything off our bill so we can't complain. I really appreciate them rectifying the situation but I rather go to Mastro's or Arthur J.

The service was impeccable and the food delicious. Made a 6:15 reservation specifically stated indoor dining and celebrating my son's birthday arrived 15 minutes early. The restaurant was not crowded. The hostess lead us to the outdoor patio I refused the seating and they sat us in the very back of the restaurant by the server and dishware station. We enjoyed the meal but not the seating.

First time here despite working in Long Beach for many years. Met a work colleague there. Our waiter, Gilberto was the best. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The shrimp appetizer rocked! The steak we split was excellent. The squash reminded both of us of Thanksgiving. Finished it off with the butter cake. Next time we'll try to souffle, just ran out of time this visit. I would definitely recommend 555 for a memorable meal. Not inexpensive, but very nice for a special occasion. Highly recommend!

We sat at the bar under excellent care by bartender, Joe, who split a Caesar salad in the kitchen with extra anchovies. The Caesar salad, here at 555 is unlike any other in that it is fresh crisp, and so savory. I also love their shrimp cocktail, a top of an avocado, cocktail sauce. Before the delectable New York strip, we had the AI appetizer that is accompanied by ginger, seaweed salad, cucumber, salad, and wasabi . It was so good. 555 East is the predominant steakhouse in Southern California.

I have been to 555 East several times. I've always had great service and a great dining experience until this time. Unfortunately my steak was not cooked correctly. I ordered a medium steak, and I received a well done steak. I asked for no chives on baked potato, but it came with chives. The manager immediately came over and addressed the issue. My entire plate was replaced. My steak was medium rare, but at that point I was too hungry to send it back. Also, my bill was incorrect. I will still give them another chance.
Very nice and excellent service, although I did request in advance to sit in a booth for a birthday dinner and was told there weren't any available. There was one booth available the entire time, not sure why we couldn't sit there.

One of the best restaurants around! We live in San Diego and have been here twice. Well worth the drive and makes for a fun and delicious get-away! Our server was fabulous- Shandy I think- she knew her stuff, made us feel welcome and comfortable. Donald is the best! Affable at its finest. We will definitely come back!!

My boyfriend and I went here for our 5 year anniversary. We had such a great time, and the food was excellent. My boyfriend had a 45 day aged steak and I had the lobster. Both were amazing! Our waitress was kind and attentive, I would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking to celebrate something!
Went here to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. Leslie, our server, was wonderful. Liked that the restaurant was able to accommodate my food allergy. Food was delicious! Thank you, Leslie, for my parents special dessert and for making this evening a memorable one. ?

Paul / St. Paul was truly amazing!!! It was my husband's 60th birthday and celebrating at 555 and having Paul as our waiter was the perfect choice; he made our night!! The quality and quantity of food from the starters to the desserts was outstanding!!!
