Mangino's is a special place! Don't miss it if you are staying at The Shades of Green Resort on Walt Disney World. Excellent Italian food, friendly, unpretentious service, and an elegant, yet relaxing atmosphere make this restaurant the perfect place for couples or families alike. J Highly recommended.

While staying at Shades Of Green, my friends and I went to Mangino’s for Dinner.ABSOLUTELY Delicious.I got the pasta with shrimp, they come to your table to make the dish with the cheese wheel.Another ordered the New York Strip and another ordered the teriyaki chicken and sweet potato’s.Otilio is the Food and Beverage Manager and I must say, treats everyone like Family. The whole Staff and Crew is beyond exemplary.Thank you for such a wonderful experience !

Probably the worst hotel restaurant we have encountered. Very expensive for the quality of the food received and the service was not very attentive. $10 for 4 small slices of fried mozzarella. For the app, 2 adult entrees, and a kid's meal, close to $75 before tip - sadly, the food tasted bland and old at best.

First time but won’t return. Calamari was great, but needed salt, French onion soup pretty good, filet mignon (seemed more like a sirloin) was chewy and rare (ordered medium rare) almost sent it back but asked for A1 sauce to help it taste better, absolutely tasteless, green beans way too raw, pork schnitzel was over cooked and needed salt, schnitzel was pasty and bland, but the crème brûlée was wonderful. Chefs need to taste their food and improve the flavor.

The family normally goes here for Christmas dinner and the food has always been amazing. The restaurant is tucked away under the lobby and has a nice cozy feel to it. Prices are reasonable, and the food is outstanding.

Everything here needs an update. The rooms are drab and dated. Elevators are broken and credit card machines are not working. It’s been a horrible experience here, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. We called the front desk and asked a question and was given an answer but later told the very opposite. Customer service is severely lacking. The Hale Koa is so, so much better.

9/17/23 - I ordered the 10 oz ribeye steak. It came out medium and it was not a ribeye. I swear it was a sirloin . No flavor whatsoever. The waitress offered to cook me another one, but I didn't want to experience this over again. Wrong steak, over cooked, and cold'ish. There was absolutely nothing else left to mess up. lol.Kid-friendliness: They had good kid selections and child cups

Ok service, but everything is frozen. Frozen chicken in the “freshly” pre made pasta, tossed in a giant cheese wheel that doesn’t actually need to be heated worn all the oils if the pasta is fresh & hot. Not our first pasta cheese wheel, but definitely our last here. Frozen shrimp. Terrible, Especially when that is the special of the evening.

Where to start?! I will start out by saying I am very selective on my Italian food. I am mostly Italian, so I'm somewhat of an expert. My dad ruined my cool Italian last name with his instead of my Mom's. Back to this review....AMAZING! I'm going to be honest and say I wasn't expecting much. Boy was I wrong. Walking in, I noticed the special for tonight. A 16oz. T-Bone with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. I was sold. Seeing is believing. So I ordered the Steak. The most amazing Wife in the world had some pasta with all I can call a magical blend of hand crafted cheese sauce, dug out by hand and prepared by torch at the table, accompanied with chicken. The kids had a grilled cheese and a cheeseburger with fresh fruit. I cut into the first piece of steak and took a bite. On everything that is Holy, WOW! OH MY GOD is all I could tell my wife. I never share my food. I instantly cut her a piece and told her to try it. She took the savory bite, and her eyes got big and she had the same response of, OMG! I forgot to mention the two grilled shrimp they had on top of the steak. I even gave her a bite of my only two shrimp. Man, that's love right there. We both had the same responses of, OMG! I ate the whole steak, all the potatoes, and some of the veggies. The wife couldn't finish all of hers, so I decided to have a taste. Man, oh man! I ate everything she didn't. Listen, I didn't want this. I didn't go eat and imagine I wanted to feel full as a tic. But there I was, almost ashamed of myself, but I wasn't because it was just so good. This is not where the story stops. I looked over at my kids plates and noticed they barely touched their fruit cups. I decided to give it a go. You know, fruit is always good and juicy. Boy boy boy, was I wrong! I think it was picked from the Garden of Eden. It was tasty, juicy, and fresh. We paid the bill, and it was surprisingly not as much as I thought it would be. On the way out, I stopped by the food window. One of the chefs asked if he could help me. I told him, I don't know who prepared my food tonight, but it was truly amazing. I put a smile on all their faces and even told them they needed a raise for that meal, that seems it was prepared by angels. One of the best Italian restaurants I have been to. I know what yall thinking......this guy must be huge to eat all that. I'm 5'10 and 175 lbs. (Probably 180 after tonight). When food is that good, I'm eating it! Just try it! I told my wife I was upset with her. She asked why. I told her that we had been here for 6 days and we just went there for the first time. I'm upset that I only get one more night to eat there before we have to leave. We going back tomorrow night!

food: very bland, barely any flavor on the mahi-mahi, didn't taste very fresh. Chicken parm had no flavor besides the sauce, chicken was bland. Chicken quesadilla was out of touch, tasted more like pot pie in a tortilla. Key lime pie, nice presentation but tasted more like cheesecake. service: our server was very nice and polite. Not so attentive when it came to drinks ambiance: quite, dim lighting

Very nice restaurant on the property. Service was adequate and food was nice... very small portion of spaghetti for the price. But on the other hand a very nice ribeye for the price. Make sure you give this a try if you are staying close by.

Service - Excellent on a Sunday night (4th of July weekend) Food - Speedy and delicious! We came here after a day at Epcot. While we didn't stay at Shades of Green, we are still eligible to dine and use the spa here because of my husband's disability eligibility. The prices for an Italian steak house can't be beat. We were a party of 6, including our preteens and 1 year old. The ambiance was nice for a date night, but also low key for a family after a day at the parks. Many were super casual. Our server was attentive and gave good recommendations.
