We arrived first time a week ago to Winter Garden and stumbled onto Matthews which became our cantina for the whole week we stayed here! Steaks are perfectly cooked by Horst his wife Gabi made tasty salads snd sides. Wicked cheesecake, tasty sourdough bread, pork the best I have ever had! Matthias is a friendly host Jill serves with grace and it’s a perfectly run family business

Good food and good iced tea. This was my first visit. The salad that I ordered said that it included cucumbers and tomatoes but they weren't included in my meal. Still tasty though, and I want to go back again before I fly home to the north.

We had a great experience at Matthew’s- wonder family run restaurant with a bit of German flavor. Matthew greeted us with the best service while his father grilled mouth watering ribeyes ?the cheesecake is a must order, very light and creamy! We hope to have an excuse to come back soon!

I'm addicted to the chicken salad here! I usually get 3 scoops. My favorite is the Buffalo flavor. It's not too spicy but there's a small kick to it. I also like the fancy Nancy with the nuts and grapes. I usually get extra crackers.

The variety of chicken salad here is unmatched! A few of my favorites are Cranberry Kelli, Fruity Fran and Fancy Nancy. The associates at this location are always kind and service is quick. There's nothing else like it in the area and I will always go here when in the mood for fresh salads of all kinds.

Great food but frustrating ordering online for in-store pickup and them telling you they are out of most of your order. But the food is so worth it and the staff were amazing. And their recommendation for the Grape Salad was clutch!!

Amazing!!! Many different types of Chicken Salad to choose from, and when you order "The Chick" as pictured here.. you get your entree Chicken salad which is either a scoop, or a sandwich with lettuce and tomato included (a choice of either bread or a croissant), including 1 side, a mini buttercream frosted cookie, and a pickle! Extra sides and desserts are obviously charged extra, as well as drinks. So, around $15 for all of it but, decent deal in my opinion because its SO DELICIOUS and fresh. So, what I ordered as pictured was "The Chick" with Sassy Scotty Chicken Salad on a Crossaint, Loaded Potato Soup (which comes with 2 packs of crackers), an extra side of Grape Salad, and the included Pickle and Cookie. To drink I got a Regular Size, mixed half Unsweet Tea and Half Minute Maid Lemonade, and to-go I tried half Unsweet Tea and half Minute Maid Strawberry Lemonade (Which I HIGHLY recommend!)

I LOVE chicken salad chick! It is one of my favorite places to go for lunch or even a light dinner! I also love Their to go containers of chicken salad I get them frequently for beach trips and it always makes the best snack!

Been to Mathew’s twice since Feb. love the service. The food was the best. Father is the grill master. The son handles great service. Will be going there monthly. Can’t wait to go back. Brats and kraut. Special are great

This was a gem that we found on a whim. We happened to be shopping and Yelped for something and this was right there. The place is a classic southern feel that makes you feel that you have stepped into a picnic. The variations of chicken salad are are nice and you will find something that tickles your fancy. We opted for the Fancy Nancy that had grapes, apples and pecans along with one that was like the Fancy Nancy that had pineapples in it. The pineapple was not large chunks but more fine so you are not chewing on a pineapple instead of chicken salad. You can get it on a scoop only order (for the carb folks) or three different breads (white, wheat and croissant), which I picked croissant. You can go À la carte or a meal which comes with a side (soup, salad or others). We chose the chicken and dumpling soup. Friends got something with broccoli and the best was something with grapes and yogurt. You will feel that the food is not enough but after eat the last bite, you will feel surprisingly just right. Oh, you get a small cookie as well. I would do this again as you leave the place full with a nice healthy feeling. The only downside was that I was charged an extra $2.50 for some reason and didn't know it until we left. The entire meal with the error was still ~$24.
