They make you order everything up front and do not tell you that unfinished dishes will come with an additional charge. We accidentally ordered too much and a $50 bill turned into an $80 bill due to this because they charge you for ordering too much, which is understandable but they need to clarify their menu and remind their servers to explain this to customers. The sushi was bland and nothing to write home about. The octopus was too tough.

honestly i wouldn’t come here again. Our server is incredibly rude and inattentive. we waited 15 minutes to get our drinks another 20 for the food and we didn’t see our server again after that. Considering we did the AYCE it kinda sucks to have been served once in the whole hour we were there. the food isn’t terrible but the staff isn’t the best. really unfortunate

I called in an order-from the menu on the Restaurants web site. As the man was hanging up, he gave me an estimated time to pick it up and then told me the total. The price was over $5 higher than what the menu showed. I was hungry, and didn't want to cancel the order. It was my first time placing an order here. I thought it might be great sushi. However, the food was below average. I wasted my money and felt like I was lied to. When I picked up my order, I asked the girl up front for a to go menu. She scrounged around and found one in a drawer-then mumbled something about them ordering new ones because the prices are all different now. It really would have been nice if that was represented on the web site. Bad experience all the way around.

We did the all you can eat. The food wasn't too bad for an all you can eat but I wish there was more flavor in the dishes. For me the sushi and dessert was the best part of the menu. The service however was not great at all. We were a table of 3 adults and there was one couple in the restaurant, so it was not busy. The waitress was not very nice towards us and we had to ask for things like water refill, napkins, and even utensils. Once she served us the food that you see in the photos below, she never gave us the all you can eat menu back, for 3 people we didn't order a lot. We had to ask for the menu again and just ordered dessert instead. She never checked on us and only came when we got her attention, we were there for 2 hours because we had to sit and wait until she came back in the dining room a lot of the time. It is a dark restaurant and would be good for a group outing but I cannot imagine the service if it was busy.

While I cannot distinguish between really good and great sushi, I can definitely distinguish between bad and good sushi. If Ponderosa opened a sushi restaurant, it would be MITO.

I wish I can put no stars! I have no idea why this places has 4 stars! This place is horrible. The staff aren't friendly at all. Our waitress today 2/22/2024 was so rude and always on her phone. Our sushi was just sitting at the bar for what it seem like forever. She walked passed it several times. The place was dead! Please don't not come to this place. The sushi isn't even good.

What is keeping me from a good review is the wait staff, tonight I wish I'd had Stephy's (server) cell number because she stayed on her phone neglecting our table I'd love to sent her a text to say "look up at your tables." This is the fourth time we've stopped in at this place and three out of four times the service was mediocre. I had to walk my order up twice to the sushi bar tonight pretty sad ...
