The icing is butter smooth and the Púa (Bacon & Maple Bar) was made with magic. They are fresh, creative, and fun donuts!The coffee is good too.Fair warning: Their coffee cups are an accident waiting to happen. Both cups we got, the lid leaked and popped off while driving.
So, I left the house early today to run an insane amount of errands. I was in the Michiga Ave area, stopped by a gas station, got some coffee and my imaginary friend said: "you know that a donut will go perfect with that coffe, right?" So I googled "donuts near me". And then Shaka donuts popped up in my search,so I went there. Oh, man. I'm so happy I went. The maple glaze on the bacon donut was the perfect combination of sweet and savory, while the blueberry cheesecake donut was like a little slice of heaven. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was quick despite the busy morning rush. Shaka Donuts is definitely my new favorite spot for indulging my sweet tooth!
