Went to El Rancho for the first time on taco Tuesday. When I went there to go try the food it didn’t look bad. But when they prepped all the food and I actually ate the food they had the chicken was bland. The pork had no flavor and the spicy chicken looked like dog food as well as the ground beef Was not even homemade. It was out of a box. Tres leche was very dry. I got two taco meals with rice and refried beans and the beans were not good as well. That whole order that I got came out to 50 bucks. I felt like it was not worth the money and the food was definitely not good very bland. I will not go back to that place ever again. Not worth the money or quality of food at that. You have to try everything once and if anybody decides to eat there, the food is not good and not worth the money.

My children and I just left from this place. We went in there cause I wanted them to try some horchata. As I was telling one of the cashiers what type of drink I wanted to purchase, a worker was engaging with my son cause they both had their skateboards. As I was paying for my drink, I asked the cashier if I can get two water cups for water for my kids please. I handed the cups to my kids and they proceeded to go to the fountain to get water. Out of no where a different coworker, the one with the red hat and mullet hairstyle, yelled at them and said ONLY WATER. I looked at him and said they are aware of what they are going to get. He proceeded to stare them down till we talked to out the door. That guy was disgusting. He did not care.. he racially profiled my children.. my son even said he did not understand why there are people out here in these work places. I told my kids I apologize that guy was rude and approached them as if they were going to steal something to drink. I will not be returning here anymore.

The steak and chicken tacos lacked flavor. The steak was mostly inedible and extremely chewy. It’s fine when you’re downtown and looking for a quick bite after a few drinks. But don’t expect to be blown away by this place. It’s below average.

This is a life saving late night spot in downtown Orlando. The menu is simple and classic Mexican fare--quesadillas, tacos, burritos, etc. Everything was great and at a good price point. I would definitely return.
