I am usually not a picky eater but one thing I have noticed is the pace of this restaurant is very slow. I was waiting a good 55 minutes for my food which is excessive, I was very hungry and I kept seeing other people get served so I wasn't sure if they just ordered before us or what the reasoning for that was. Like I have mentioned, an excessive amount of time. I finally lost my patience and asked the waitress and she said it was due to a big order before us. But an hour almost just waiting? I have not experienced this in almost any restaurant before. I try to not be that person but tbh I don't think I will be coming back because how can I trust this won't happen again.

(1/8/2024) we came with our Salvadoran coworker for a weekday lunch. When we arrived, we were the only table. Place is larger than it looks from the outside, there's a fair number of tables and seating in one half the building suite. These were some of the better pupusas we've had in town. They're particularly hot and fresh. You can hear them patting the pupusas for the griddle at the time of your order. Everything was piping hot. Love, love, love the tableside jar of curtido they bring to you. It's fermented, tart, crunchy, perfect foil to the hot, tender, cheesy pupusas. We got the Revueltas, Ayote, Loroco, Bean and Cheese, Jalapeño. All were delicious. The Yuca con Chicharones were fresh out of the fat fryer, crisp, well-seasoned. The prices can't be beat at $3 a pupusa. Def a gem.

This has been the worst restaurant in FloridaI ordered a beef soup and it was horrible and it was red. It had a lot of seasoning flavor. I had never seen a beef soup like that. This has been a horrible experience. I had to leave the food there because it tasted horrible. ?

By far the best salvadoran food in orlando. I have tried multiple of the dishes and they were all spot on, waitresses sometimes attempt to engage in conversations making me always feel welcomed, i would recommend to anyone wanting to try out a Salvadorian spot.

Al fin encontré un restaurante con el toque salvadoreño, he visitado otros lugares que dicen ser Salvadoreños pero ninguno es cómo esté.

Originally we were looking for Guatemalan food but that restaurant was closed on the day we came here . So we decided to go to restaurante salvadoreño. Food was good. I got the típico which was delicious breakfast. Scramble eggs were good filled with onion and peppers. My kids got a grill cheese and steak sandwich and some smoothies. The smoothies were good definitely recommend those. The cheese sandwich looked good as well for just being a grill cheese . And my son liked his steak sandwich. We also ordered pupusas which were one of the better ones I've had in a while so I was really happy with that. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Staff was nice and friendly. Plenty of seating and they had rest rooms . Overall good food and good service.

Found this small restaurant and it was good. Service was a little slow, but wasn't expecting fast service. Ordered Popusas and they were amazing! Only bad thing was their slaw was old, so it had a weird taste. Horchata was super sweet, so wouldn't recommend that. Jamaica was my favorite drink. Also, ordered two sandwiches and they were delicious.

Restaurante Salvadoreno la Familia is a small no-frills type restaurant that despite the business name, they seem to be having a personality crisis as to whether they want to offer Salvadoran food or classic American diner food. Next to pupusas, soup and other Salvadoran foods, they have sandwiches, breakfasts and other menu items that would be more at home on a diner menu than a Salvadoran restaurant menu. Since I am pretty much obsessed with pupusas, I went with three pupusas. They were fairly priced at three dollars a piece. The ordering process is relatively straightforward. You go to the counter and place your order. When it is ready, they bring it to your table. My pupusas were brought to me with the expected slaw and sauce. I find that the best pupusas that I have had here in this country were in Nashville, Tennessee and I found some great pupusas at a flea market on Orange Blossom Trail here in Orlando, Florida, but comparing it to other pupusas that I have tried here in Orlando (other than the ones at the OBT Flea Market), they were good. Not great, not the type that would haunt my dreams, but good. If you are looking for a local place, this place is not a bad place. Not great, but overall decent. Overall, I will give it four stars.

I was intrigued when I first heard of a new Salvadoran restaurant was opening up. I love that the restaurant is family oriented and every time I step inside I feel welcomed. Not only is the staff attentive and kind, but the food is delicious! It takes me back to my childhood home, when my mom used to make me a signature dish for El Salvador, Pan con Pollo. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who is looking for authentic Salvadoran food, you won't be disappointed.
