Absolutely LOVE The Bao Spot!!! Service was great, everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food to die for. The drinks delicious. The ambiance is so cool, you forget you are in Downtown Orlando. The decor is funky, you even need a code to get into the restroom (you'll find it on the bottom of your receipt). The place is clean, organized and you can even pick up some merch. The desserts mouth watering!!! You will not regret a trip there...already planning my next one.

Vibe: Guardian of the Galaxy meets Galaxy edge (Space aliens and Space age decor) Taste: Nachos were fire (crisp, light ) that highlights the fresh tuna. The soft shell crab bao has the perfect balance of crunch with the soft fresh bao. The French fries are crisp and tasty. Value: on point, happy to have visited this site. Parking: Difficult. The only drawback of this establishment.. Busy area with limited parking. Used street parking that was several blocks away.

Gross gross gross! Everything was very cold and very oily. The tables were dirty and the atmosphere is not inviting in my opinion. The self service kiosk was annoying to use.I’m also confused where these good reviews are coming from. With Orlando being a #1 foodie city, locals have high expectations, I don’t see how this business will last much longer.

Arrived at 11:25pm My order was taken at 11:59pm. My order was for 2 tuna poke nacho, 2 Bao Buns and 1 poke bowl to go. I got it almost an hour later at 12:54am. I just took my bags and left. Huge mistake. I should have checked the bags. Once home, there's no sauce or anything on either of the poke nachos. You guys, it's just a handful of fried wonton chips, raw tuna and avocado. NO SEASONING AT ALL. So disappointing. The poke bowl and Bao Buns look ok. I was looking forward to poke. I tried my husbands poke bowl and it was really good. It's just unfortunate that my daughters and my dish were incomplete. ETA: I appreciate the response from the manager. I will try them again, but I respectfully decline the generous offer for a comped meal. I will update my review when I get an opportunity to go again.

My recent dining experience at Bao’s Spot on Church Street turned out to be a delightful encounter with the diverse flavors they offer. Nestled in the bustling downtown of Orlando, this spot is a gem for anyone looking to indulge in a variety of dishes that cater to both adventurous eaters and those who prefer something more traditional. The hearty selection of items, including ‘The Rebel’, ‘Meteor Bites’, a kid-friendly grilled cheese with fries, and gyoza did not disappoint.Bao’s Spot shines particularly during happy hour, with unbeatable deals on drinks and baos priced under $5. It’s an offer that’s hard to pass up and adds great value to the dining experience. While the service was just okay, not detracting from the overall experience, the food more than made up for it.The ‘Rebel’ and ‘Meteor Bites’ were standout dishes, offering a burst of flavor and a peek into the culinary creativity of the kitchen. The gyoza was also well-prepared, a nice nod to classic Asian fare that complemented the meal. As for the grilled cheese with fries, it was described as plain, yet it managed to hit the spot, especially for my child who found it to be quite tasty. In conclusion, Bao’s Spot in downtown Orlando is worth a visit for those looking for a casual dining experience with the opportunity to enjoy a variety of dishes. Whether you’re in it for the happy hour deals or to explore the menu, it’s a place that seems to have something for everyone. The food certainly does not disappoint, and I look forward to returning to try more of what they have to offer.

Don't expect much at 1:30am. The Bao and ingredients taste like they've been left out for a few hours.

Honestly, the only good thing about this place was the atmosphere.Food was not that goodand overly priced. and false advertised that they had Boba.Parking: Tried to pay for hourly with the parking lot that we found and it only gave us the option to pay for 12 hours

The service is good and the restaurant has a good vibe. Interesting theme. The baos are just…not good. If you’ve been to King Bao, you know. I wouldn’t be so disappointed but this place is too expensive for a bad bao. I think I got 3 baos and a drink for…$35.Either improve the recipes or change the costs because this isn’t worth it with so many great food options in Orlando.

The Bao Spot got quite busy around lunch time. Galaxy spaceship indoor type vibe. Lunch specials was a great deal of 2 baos, fries and a drink for $13+. The brussels sprouts were very delicious minus the bacon. The Baos are good, soft and flavorful but they lack on the temperature of the food. It came out warm. Parking here is horrible.

Awful. Where do I start? The Yuca fries with the "aoli" that was basically a liquid were inedible. All the boa buns were lacking flavor. They were intentionally filling the room with smoke for "ambiance". You need a code to use the restrooms which were disgusting and missing toilet paper. Also you order yourself on a touchscreen that swivels all over the place when you push buttons and when you try to put your card.

Food was fabulous. Loved the soft, flavorful, bao buns. Fast service, large selection. Loved the Star Wars ambiance and vibe too. Very cool!
