This review is for our visit in February. For the last few years, we’ve had a birthday ritual of celebrating at the Capital Grill. We always enjoyed the restaurant and our meal. Unfortunately, this was our last visit. Where do I begin? The restaurant called two hours before to confirm that we were coming, and we still had more than half an hour to wait. Why bother calling us?? When we finally sat at our table three different waiters asked if we wanted water, and no one brought the water until we persisted. During our meal our glasses were never filled unless we asked. The young waiter who tended to our table tried to be friendly but spoke fast and kept repeating “you guys”. Well maybe is a generational thing but “you guys” is not appropriate. The appetizers/soup were not the correct size, but we did not complain. The steak that I always looked forward to was smaller, chewy, and barely warm. My son’s steak (bone in ribeye) was small and had no bone. In addition, we had to repeatedly remind the waiter about our cocktails which took a long time to arrive. When we finished dining, we were never asked if we wanted coffee with our dessert. Perhaps the fact that there were three large groups dining that night had something to do with the poor service. However, I have seen large groups before, and service was never impacted. I don’t like writing bad reviews but for $600.00 plus I expected a little more.

Everything started off well with the two waitresses until the check came. Demetria (waitress) yelled across the room if I wanted to give a 20% or 25% tip since we had a party of 6. I explained to her that one of the guest is a toddler with a feeding tube and she did not get a meal or water. She said it did not matter. It is 20%-25% for a party of 5 or 6, which is not true. It is always a certain amount of gratuity for a party of 6 or more. When I paid the overpriced bill Demetria did not come back and her partner (Melody) kept her back towards me as I signed the receipt. I would not recommend this place. This is not professional or fine dining behavior to say the least.

The event was meant to be a festive Easter brunch and birthday celebration, but it turned out to be very disappointing. The service was slow, the food bland, and everything was overpriced. Next year, we will celebrate at the Season's 52.

This is hands down the best capitol grille location I’ve been to thanks to the manager David an absolutely one of a kind gem of a person . 4 stars are not enough to express how much his dedication, enthusiasm was heartwarming and made our night. He is a blessing and makes this place a must do when in town.

Went here for a company dinner first time service was wonderful, wasn't crazy about the choice of appetizers I don't like lobster or calamari, the fields of green salad was great and the filet mignon was greatThe flour less chocolate cake was not badGreat place to go for a special occasion

My partner and I came out to this restaurant for our 5th year anniversary and we were so impressed with how amazing the service and the food was. The staff really helped make the day special for us. Special thanks to Rafael Lagunas for being a stellar waiter! He was extremely kind and personable, and we were so happy to have met him. Thank you for such a wonder experience, we will definitely be back!Parking: Valet is covered by the restaurant! Definitely take advantage of this.

Dining here was such a pleasure. My fiancé and I were celebrating our 5th year anniversary together at this location, and we were in awe. Rafael Lagunas gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home, and it was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed the dish he recommended, the sea bass, and it was delicious!
This was my first time dining at Capital Grille and it was quite pleasant. Everything we ordered was delicious and the server(s) were very attentive with absolutely no rush.To start, the onion soup was hot and had perfect flavor, the wedge salad was excellent but the bone in ribeye was superb. This cut was tender and juicy and I could just about cut it my fork, paired with the mashed potatoes and mushroom risotto. The manager came by to greet us and make sure everything was to our liking.It was just an all around great experience.

They overcooked my steak… I asked for medium rare and got medium well…and so I returned it. They then flash broiled the next steak… the middle was raw and the steak was inedible. It might take a little longer but do it the right way and don’t rush something out. So I ate some Mac and cheese and a couple truffle fries for dinner.I’d never go back… if a steakhouse can’t cook a steak, what’s the point.
