Sat at the bar on my second visit for brunch. Awesome service, drinks, and food. Everything was excellent especially the cheeseburger which is the best I've ever had at any restaurant.

To start, we found this restaurant on Yelp. It says NOTHING about needing a res. I will add that. We did look for that. We went to the website and the only thing it says is call for large parties. We clicked on it anyway and it doesn't work. We went in at 5:30 and waited until 6:10. My husband went to the bar to order wine. He was ignored for just long enough to annoy him and got two glasses of not great warm cab. We ordered the crowd favorites. The fried chicken. It was salty which was mentioned but we like salty okay. The veg, which was a large broccoli spear with cheese was cold. The Mac was also not hot. But we never saw our server again. We also ordered a burger. It is served meat and cheese with some pickles and, I'm sorry the grilled onions are almost non existent. The runner gladly brought lettuce, tomato, and some onion. The food was good. Was it great? No. Was the service good? No. Our drinks were empty, so my husband went to the hostess asking for tea refills. I mean come on. If you like trendy, bougie, slow, with good but needs some improvement food, this is your spot.

I've been here many times, but I recently took my company's executive team and we were blown away. Most notice were the pork belly s'mores. A savory miso marshmallow? Outstanding. I love the vibe in here, the decor is beautiful and it's not too loud but not awkwardly quiet either. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable

I only came here for the cafe con leche and aesthetic and boy, did I get so much more! Ambiance is everything and decor is chic and modern. I ordered the cafe con leche, hot. It was delicious. It even had a heart foam design - awe! I wanted the jalapeño deviled eggs and yogurt parfait but both were sold out. I settled on biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs. The biscuits were delicious!! Flaky and fresh with kick. And, the eggs were fluffy. I sat at the bar. There was plenty of room and purse hooks - Iykyk. The bar team was super nice and answered all my menu questions. Good time for sure! I look forward to dropping in again for lunch or dinner.

On this visit, we chose the WARM CRAB DIP Cajun spice, cheddar, crackers for $16 and shared the THE MONROE'S FAMOUS FRIED CHICKEN for $25 Three-piece, mac and cheese, brioche roll, honey mustard butter, choice of side, mashed sweet potatoes. This visit did not disappoint and is a reminder of why we keep coming back

Very sleek new space in a beautiful part of Orlando, with terrific variations on chicken dishes 5 star ambiance: it's a beautiful space on the first floor of a new residential building, facing a beautiful park outside. The interior is sleek, softly lighted and modern. 5 star service: the front desk was very friendly and the server was friendly and helpful with recommendations. 5 star food: I found the place by rave reviews on Yelp. Try any of their famous chicken dishes and you can't go wrong

Trash restaurant. I made a reservation for 7. The restaurant was completely empty and they wouldn't let my wife and I sit down and get a table until the whole party arrive. I spoke with the manager and asked her if she would rather lose my business and get a 1 star review and she said she could care less. Stay away from this place, they won't last in Orlando.
Traveling to upstate New York. First stop 'The Monroe in Orlando for a much needed meal to take me through the all night driving. I was excited to try this place. Wow what a meal. What a treat! We had the Chicken meal. Let me just say it's pricey, $25 for chicken but this is not just chicken it's the best fried chicken I have ever had. The batter is perfection. Wonderfully seasoned. Great portion. No skinny chicken here. 3 pieces which is the perfect amount. 4 are too many and 2 is not enough. You chicken fans know what I mean. The sides were fabulous. The place is incredibly stylish, warm inviting colors and super comfy chairs / sofa. I JUST LOVE THIS PLACE. You will too!

This was our first visit to The Monroe. We chose it based on Yelp reviews. The restaurant is in a cute part of downtown Orlando in what looks like an apartment/business set of buildings. It is cute inside with different types of seating, a bar and even a shuffleboard table. We chose to dine outside on the patio. Dinner was delicious and service was spot on. Our waitress, Sarah, was attentive without being obtrusive. She made great suggestions. We had the pork belly s'mores and shishito peppers for apps. Entrees were really good portions for the price. We had: fried chicken, pork chop, salmon, meatloaf and burger. There was not a bad bite to be had. I wish we could have saved room for dessert.

Attended a private affair on 4/13. We were a group Of about 60 people. The servers, Rachel and James were great! Polite, friendly and professional. The bartender Hannah was outstanding handling all the guest herself. Very friendly, very cordial. Had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and the display artful. Great place for a function. Or just dinner!
