Everyone at the party loved how beautiful the cake and cupcake looked, but when it came to taste, absolutely EVERYONE was highly impressed by the flavor and asked where the cake was from. We had people coming for seconds. I am so happy everything turned out exactly how I wanted it and the colors used for both cake and cupcakes were stunning. Delivery was right on time too. My wife and I commissioned a 1-tier cake from The Naked Cupcake for our wedding, and were disappointed with the result. We provided two silk boutonnieres to use as decoration, assuming they would use them as a baseline, but the resulting cake looked incredibly boring and uninspired as no additional elements were used. The cake was barren looking, with our flowers added to only one small corner. No additional effort was added to fill the cake out and make it look nice.The only silver lining (and reason for two stars instead of one) was that the Sunday Brunch flavor we ordered tasted nice. The frosting was a bit on the sweet side, but it was enjoyable enough. The cake didn't ruin our wedding day, but it was certainly the lowest point.tl;dr - avoid this place if you need a cake that looks niceEdit: It was not communicated to me that there were any additional fees for adding elements to the cake, or that there was a concern about the size of the provided florals. I asked for "artists discretion" twice, both in-person and in the text messages mentioned, and was told during my consultation that a cake would be created using a tropical theme matching the boutonnieres provided. If I was told an exact design was required, I would have gone elsewhere as I am not a cake designer.
