No food, expensive, not friendly. 2nd floor hole in the wall. The music was good but that was all. A complete waste of time! Don't waste your time. There's a rooftop bar across the street that was much better.

I was granted the opportunity to be able to gather content for the venue & to say the least this was the best venue I was able to shoot for. Great ambiance and vibes, would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good time.

Rented out the venue for an event & to say we had an amazing time would be an understatement. From a great atmosphere to superb customer service. The woods is really your best option when it comes to

Scheduled an event here and the place remained closed for over an hour after the scheduled start time. Very unprofessional for a business, would never recommend anyone use them!

This is the quintessential sh*t show... they get paid to host and event and then don't show up. Lack of response, not one person showed up from the venue after over an hour wait, just an all around POS business

This place used to have a rotating menu of great craft cocktails. That does not seem to have survived COVID, now the drink selection is like any other basic bar. At least decor is still nice. More secluded than most places.

Spot is using false advertising to draw customers in the place. There are 3 beers on tap. They don’t make ANY cocktails and the vibe was so so. If they prompted this as a dive bar then I’d be able to accept the spot for what it is. I wish there was a zero rating. Bad

Came here based of a recommendation from my older brother who said this was a very solid whiskey place downtown. I came early on a Saturday night, and unfortunately, was met with quite a different crowd than I was expecting. In the evenings they offer ladies drink free until 11, which is an awesome appeal for folks that are looking for somewhere to start their night. However, the DJ they had there was playing the music so loud barely anyone, even the staff, could hear. There's also a certain clientele that comes with offering free drinks so there were women jumping up and down on the tables which the DJ had to constantly address and stop the music to get them to come down. I was told that this was the whiskey bar and I asked for Maker's Mark which they didn't have. That's a very basic option. I then stepped it up and asked for Woodford reserve and they didn't have that either. Not sure this is actually a whiskey bar or if they're just a bar during the day and then a dance club at night. The bartenders both are very young and did not know a lot about pouring drinks so the consistency was terrible. I can't quite understand what the theme or vibe of the bar is supposed to be because they're playing sports on the TV and then R&B music from the DJ, then they have some tables on one side but then an open dance floor + couches on the other. Really confusing situation and we ended up leaving over to the Robinson which has a very dedicated style and atmosphere. They delivered consistency in our drinks. I'm going to consider coming back one more time during the day or evening with my older brother to see what he saw in this place but I won't be back for a nighttime experience. The main bar being a giant tree slab is super cool. Should find a way to light that up and make it a focus of the bar. Connect the mission or efforts to something "Woods" related. Smoked drinks would fit right in here. Consider doing it for every drink so you start a signature.

This place was an amazing environment. The knowledge and talents of the bartenders there is the pinnacle of their craft! It's a must!

Def a cool vibe, super casual. Music was decent. Great for a quick drink or a love to start the night.

The Woods used to be an excellent craft cocktail bar. Now there are no craft cocktails and not even a drink menu. So, I asked the bartender for a pretty common drink, a Tom Collins. She was under the impression that it contained whiskey (not gin) and said that they couldn't make it because they didn't have orange or cherries. I told her that that's not what a Tom Collins is and I had to explain the ingredients. When I explained the actual ingredients, she said they didn't have all of the ingredients, so the drink couldn't be made. I then asked for a whiskey sour with lemon wedge, but apparently they didn't have any lemons.Look, if you want to switch from a craft cocktail bar to a regular bar, that's your choice. But if you can't make even basic drinks, I don't know how you're going to stay in business.

Although on the main street it feels like a hidden speakeasy as you go up the stairs to a bar/lounge area. The staff were lovely and the drinks were strong! Music was nostalgic and for the right crowd. We ordered the 3 Rim Repo (purple) and the Somewhere in Tulum (gold).I'd like to come here on a busy night and enjoy the vibe of the place.

I have been a The Woods customer for over five years. They have recently come under new ownership. I must admit that the place is now very well decorated, and the bar area is more organized than before. At about 8:30 PM on Saturday, I had two well-crafted Old Forester - Old Fashioned - $8 each. Bartender - Rachel was great and knows her craft well. The bar started quiet and relaxing, with maybe only six people. About 20 minutes later, a group of guys showed up, and the bar below (which I think is the same owner) was testing their sound system, so the bar went from quiet to loud, therefore the four stars vs five stars for Atmosphere. There was only one negative review item, which moved the Woods down the list of bar locations I would patronize in Downtown Orlando - I tend to tip between 15% to 40% depending on the service, and rarely do I tip at the 15% level. The Woods now has an "Automated Service Fee Gratuity “ - 20%. I tipped $3 additional but was told I could not "reduce the amount.” Was glad that the bartender also told me "Gratuity" was included. I understand the reason for Auto Gratuity for groups of people or maybe during Happy Hour, but I also believe that if a bartender pours me one $4 - $6 beer, a $1 tip is good, or that poor overall service should get my lowest tip %.What other Downtown Orlando Bars have implemented "Automatic Service Fee Gratuity"? If not for the gratuity issue, would have given The Woods - 5 stars for this review.

This place used to be one of my favorite bars before they closed and had new management take over. They got rid of a lot of craft drinks and completely changed the food menu.
