After pushing for us to do the buffet ($35/each and 20% auto gratuity for serving ourselves) the server came and put two coffee pitchers on the table without asking if we wanted coffee, so we assumed it was included. He also started pouring juice for everyone and didn't wait for yes/no before starting to pour. Only one of us managed to say no before he'd poured. We didn't see coffee or juice on the menu so we assumed both were included. Otherwise why serve it without anyone requesting it? They charged $6 per juice and $5 per coffee (I guess he kept tabs on who poured coffee? Impressive considering he barely checked on us). The food took half an hour to come out . The food was okay, pretty typical hotel breakfast food, the kind most places have complimentary but this was $20/plate ($35 if you want buffet). When I questioned the juice and coffee charge he claimed some "people had said yes when he offered and they drank it, sorry." He was just padding his automatic 20% gratuity. Absolutely infuriating.

Not worth it. Food is right out bad. Worst fish and chips I ever had. Bread of grilled cheese was stale and just broke despite so much of grease.Never going

I recently dined at Trade Winds, located at the Renaissance at SeaWorld in Orlando, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, leading me to give it a two-star rating. The primary issue was with the food’s quality, particularly the fish and chips, which were a major letdown. The dish was extremely oily to the point of being inedible. I found myself needing to ask for extra napkins just to soak up the excessive oil, which is not something I expected to do at a restaurant of this caliber.Additionally, I ordered the grilled cheese, hoping for a better experience, but it too was disappointingly oily. The excessive greasiness overwhelmed the flavors and dampened my taste buds, detracting significantly from the enjoyment of the meal. The aftermath of consuming such oily food was feeling unwell, which further impacted my dining experience negatively. While I appreciate the restaurant’s ambiance and location, the food quality on this occasion was not up to standard. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve the culinary experience for future diners.

Casual dining Thanksgiving experience - the food was good and although they close at 6, they continue to bring out fresh food for patrons with the last reservation. Service was excellent as well. however, $70 is a bit steep for what it was.

Service was great, Ana was a great server. Everything we ate was delicious, I can't recall anything being less than wonderful. Would definitely dine here again. I will say a little pricey though .. 70 was a bit much for the buffet. 50 a person would have been more accurate.

Food was good except not many options for someone with wheat allergies. Most side dishes had some kind of sauce or breading. I would recommend adding some gluten free options, we had 3 in our party with allergies but the dishes didn't indicate if nuts, wheat, etc. were in the ingredients. Not a place I could recommend for someone with food allergies. Service was good after we got our drinks. Amanda was amazing and so accommodating!

The Thanksgiving buffet was wonderful. Food was fresh and hot. Each person in our party had a different favorite item. The display was a feast for the eyes. The staff was welcoming and friendly from arrival to departure. Wished we had more room in our tummies. Anna did a wonderful job as our server and the Chef was charming when he visited with us. Everyone had a smile and was very personable. What a great family meal we enjoyed thanks to their hard work.

Solid hotel breakfast away from the main part of the hotel. Services was nice, a la carte menu was reasonably priced. If you’re hungry there is a buffet option.

I have to give a huge shout out to the staff at Tradewinds Restaurant at Renaissance Orlando Sea World. Having a child with multiple allergies makes it really hard to eat out and we have never been anywhere that has been so incredibly helpful and accommodating. Everyone from our server Ana, the sous chef Zuleika, and the executive chef Billy Brown went above and beyond to serve us. I was well prepared to find some plain oatmeal and some fruit that my 8 year old with allergies could eat as our options for him are usually extremely limited at breakfast buffets. Before I knew it they were bringing out a feast for him that they made in the kitchen to avoid cross-contamination. Seeing his little eyes widen when he found out he could have pancakes (egg and dairy free) in a restaurant for the first time made my mama heart so happy! ? You made my 8-year old's day. Everything was delicious and their genuine kindness and hospitality was greatly appreciated!

Stayed at Renaissance and had lunch here. Food was alright, service is top notch! Special shoutout to Asahi, who went above and beyond and offered to remake the dish that were too salty for my taste. Chef was super humble, he came out to make sure we were happy after he remade it!5/5 service, would recommend.

Located inside the Renaissance Sea World hotel, Tradewinds is a pretty standard destination across the board. The service was just fine, the food was just fine, and the ambiance was just fine.Nothing that is going to stand out too much, but you could probably do worse as well. The Fish & Chips weren't really "Cajun" except they included hush puppies, which weren't all that good. The fish was decent but again, not "Cajun" in really any sense of the word. The fries were solid. As I said, not going to blow your mind, but nothing too off putting either!
