It started not good: even though we arrived on time, we were told the table was not ready yet and were asked to wait at the bar, that someone would come to call us once it's ready. It seemed even some written note was added about this, cannot be 100% sure.. after waiting for 20 minutes and asking we found out our table was ready for 15 minutes. After trying to understand what went wrong why no one called us - i was told in a not very polite way to bring my spouse so we would go to our table. And that our name called outside (apparently near the man who told us to wait inside). And no apologies were made, that should be done in any case that wasn't the client's fault.. and we saw people waiting outside even though it seemed like there were many free tables inside (but it could have depended on waiters' availability). We waited too long for the first course, the rest arrived at a better time.. the food was rather simple, not delicious, without special tastes/touches. The waitress was nice, though when we said the soup felt spicy, there was not much empathy.

The gentleman that got us a table for our daughter's award celebration night was exceptional to go out of his way for us- so kind and professional!! It's so uncommon these days to meet such quality people like him. He should be manager or owner if he isn't already. Our waitress Giovanna was fantastic, so knowledgeable and fast, a sweetie! The food was exceptional. My arugula salad was the best!! The pizza is really special. It was just amazing and it's so beautiful. We highly recommend!

AWFUL!!! Food was horrendous and the servers were slow and miserable. We left after the starters and the server threw a tiff on not redoing her tip - I wish I could remember her name. Please eat elsewhere. No one even asked why we wanted to leave after the starters? Have some pride in your job.

Made online reservations. Was emailed and texted to confirm several days before. Showed up with entire party of six to find they were not even open. Reservations were for 3pm for a restaurant that apparently doesn't open until 4pm. Who is the watchdog for this? Who oversees whatever reservation system you use to simply double check they have your correct hours of operation? Reflection of your overall management practices? Certainly makes an impression!

Amazing experience. Both times I have visited Vivo has delivered way above my expectations. Food and service was perfect. Can get a bit busy, especially around the time Universal closes so worth booking ahead where possible.

The meatballs tasted like they were out of a can. We sent them back. But the squid ink seafood pasta was really good. The lasagna was disappointing.

Alex! This is the person you want to have for a wonderful experince! We came with not reservation with a group of 7. At the door we were greeted then brought in to a table close to the door. Before entering someone opened the door for us then we were greeted again and welcomed. We took our seats and walks in a wonderful person named Alex. He asked my daughter since she was at the head of the table will she being paying and how she wanted the orders to go as she was the boss. A lol moment with an 8 yr old on her birthday. He then took all of our orders of drinks by memory and had them delivered to our table with not one drink placed wrong as he brought the last 2 waters asked if all was great and if we wanted to place a starter. I replied yes and shortly came the meatballs and antipasto. Meatballs where great and the antipasto was ok. As he came around to check how everything was tasting he took note of drinks and asked if more was needed then brought those and asked if we where ready for our main course orders. He took our orders but what was amazing to us was for the two young girls they didn't want the sauce on the spaghetti and he even asked what kind of spaghetti even though it was not on the order! He made that happen for them and my daughter had loved the meatballs prior so that was also added to the plate. Explaining that it was a scratch kitchen made all the sense as everything came out hot and fresh. My lasagna was great and everyone said the food was perfect. Overall it was a fabulous experince and again I have to thank Alex for this. The late at the end was made with love even though he explained that the frothing part of the machine was not working properly you can tell effort was put in to make it as creamy as possible. Again going above and beyond to make a great experience for us. Since I had paid the way for the family and my daughters friend family they did an extreamly nice gesture and paid without me noticing at the end so I didn't get to see the tip amount but I will be going back and looking for Alex to hopefully have the same experince and send a generous tip to him. Alex if you are reading this thank you! You are the example of service and should be rewarded for shining a light in an industry many cannot do well. Hope to see you again soon.Kid-friendliness: Please read above to see the kid friendliness

Food was ok. I ordered the chicken picatta and my husband got the chicken parm. My chicken was over cooked and rubbery. Could not eat it. My husband ended up with food poisoning. So dont order the chicken. Service was fine and atmosphere is nice. They sat us right away on a rainy day and food came out quick. Its a shame my husband got sick.Vegetarian options: lots of veggiesKid-friendliness: they have items on the meu my kids ate.

Went there for dinner after universal studio parade around 8:30, great service, great tasty food. Everything is fresh and we can see the pasta and pizza are made freshly right in front of us. We ordered calamari as starter, meatball pasta, all meat pizza, squid ink pasta with seafood and linguine with clams. All very good.
